I have what you could call Nordic afro, fine, curly, frizzy, and very porous. I only use toner but always a little flat iron after washing my hair. I feel like I’m stuck in a catch-22 situation and keep trying new products where nothing can really hydrate my hair, and if it does, it gets greasy with buildup in the lengths and gives me pimples on my shoulders… Is this something for me? I like REF intense hydrate but it makes my hair greasy, I LOVE Kevin Murphy Young again but it gives me acne, really don’t like the Redken all soft series and definitely not their curls leave-in which gave my hair a coating you could almost scrape off. Maria Nila true soft does nothing for my hair, I could just shower with water and not notice any difference. Heard a lot of good things about this series but don’t want to throw money away on yet another Redken series… Now I’ve done micro highlights and got chemical damage because my porous hair can’t handle those kinds of treatments. Want long and hydrated hair but it just won’t happen :( help

ABC is a repair series that strengthens the hair and smooths the surface, and the leave-in also has heat protection. It is not a heavy moisturizing series like All Soft, so the risk of buildup is probably lower. However, I can't promise that it will fully satisfy your hair. After micro-slingor, porous hair often needs more strengthening than just moisture.
