Hi. I have this product, but I find it difficult to apply in sections. I use this as my only heat protectant and leave-in, so I want to apply it to as much hair strand as I can. Something I feel is not possible when I spray directly into my hair. Therefore, I have started spraying into my hands and applying in sections that way instead. Is this an okay method? Or is it not recommended? I feel my dry, thick hair is softer and shinier when I am on day 2 and 3 of curling iron curled hair after using this product. But I don't notice much difference on day 1 blow-dried hair. Spraying the product in your hands before applying is totally fine, especially for thick or dry hair. It can help with a more even distribution, but be careful with the amount to avoid making the hair heavy or greasy. For best results, apply the product to dry hair before heat styling, and let it absorb for a minute or two. It can take some time for the hair to show full effect, so it's normal to see more softness and shine on days 2 and 3.
