    Difference in hair color

I'm stuck between two hair colors and don't know which one to choose. Medium Brown 4N and medium ash brown 4C. What is the difference between them? Will they be about equally dark or how will they turn out? Does 4N turn reddish in tone when it washes out? Fun with “snällere” hair colors.

Hey Dana! 👋🏼 Both shades have the same lightness level and are therefore equally dark! 4C contains cool pigments, which can also be perceived as darker since they do not reflect light in the same way as warm pigments. 4N is not red, but more neutral. Neither warm nor cool, I would say 👌🏼 How the shade turns out when it washes out depends a lot on your starting condition. Most permanent colors lift the hair, which can give a warm glow afterward. If you choose a color that is lighter than your own hair, the shade tends to become extra warm 🎨 Take care! ☃️
