Not for my skin
I thought this would be perfect for us with sensitive skin, since it says so on the front.. Well, I don't agree. My calves didn't look good after use, red and itchy spots all over. I should have probably taken a picture, but I didn't think about it then. My partner was shocked when I came out and showed him. This was the only new product I used then, everything else I've been using for a while, so it must be this. This was a rollercoaster
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test this (and other products from Nioxin. A little about me and my hair: I have a pixie cut, and really Nordic hair, thin and fine. I also have hair that gets both electric and flyaway, especially in the winter. If this package had only had shampoo and conditioner, I would have given it one more star, but the treatment made my hair greasy faster. There are some strong scents from this set, especially the shampoo, so OBS OBS. It was a mindf*** experience to use it. It smells like old-fashioned mouthwash, and it looks like that too, turquoise liquid shampoo.. But it is honestly nice and refreshing to use this in the morning. The biggest plus is that I quickly noticed a difference, I hardly flyaway at all anymore, and I also don't have as much electric hair. And my hair is also not as split as before. Unfortunately, I haven't noticed that my hair is thicker. So as you might understand, there was a lot of ups and downs here. I also have hair that gets both electric and frizzy, especially in the winter. I think this one smelled the best of the Nioxin products I have tested. It's a plus that the mask should be applied to wet hair, so you don't have to keep going in and out of the shower, avoiding getting cold and warm alternately. The hair became soft, but felt greasy again quickly, so therefore not a top rating. But I don't think the price is that bad. I have a partner with little hair who loves scalp massages. So I thought this product should really be tested to the max. I don't know if it's wishful thinking or if there's actually something to it, but we both feel like we see a change, and that after just 3 weeks. So we are excited for the next weeks, I just wish the deadline to write this review was 2 months. I'm attaching a picture of my partner's scalp before and after. So, hello, where has this been hiding? This is the peel off mask I’ve been missing, one that is easy to apply and not least easy to remove. I think there are more remnants left from other such masks, that they are more like a mask you remove with water than peel off. So this is my new favorite mask. I love one of the shampoos and conditioners from this brand, so I thought it was time to try other products.. And this one was a hit🤩 A clean scent and a mild scent that I can't quite put my finger on what it actually smells like. It gives me summer and sunshine vibes, perfect now in winter😅 The scent lasts at least 24 hours, haven't tested longer. Dries quickly, and the skin feels clean and just how it should be. I’m in love!
