It gives a subtle color and glow ✨ even on light/pale skin, but the effect is more of a warm glow than a brown color. So it’s not a self-tanner, the color is just temporary - it washes off when you shower. Then when I look at reviews, you have to be careful as it seems to stain clothes etc., so it doesn’t seem to have long-lasting wear. I’ve only seen in a video when Amanda Schulman (one of the founders) rubs it on her legs, and on her it looks smooth as if she’s wearing tights, but she’s already brown, so I guess it gets an even better effect then.
