It was hard at first, and I had never used a flat iron or anything like that before, but after going through different videos, it was very easy. I have thick and wavy/curly hair, so it doesn't completely straighten my hair, and it takes time to curl it with the curling heads, but if you set the blower to the highest, it goes fast. If you want them to last long, you can spray hairspray while the curls are on the curling tool in the locking setting.
