A good budget option
Catrice's baked blush is very good. Even though it costs very little. 🧡 I wasn't familiar with the brand Catrice before, and I want to write a bit about it at the end of my review. 🧡 The packaging is simple and maybe a bit fragile. I doubt it can withstand much. But so far, I find the open-and-close mechanism good. 🧡 The formula itself impresses me. I find it has a lot of pigment. And I think it has a lovely glow, and it can also be used as a highlighter. 🧡 It is very easy to apply and blend out. And it stays nice for a long time. The color was probably not quite what I imagined it would be, but that's how it is when you shop based on pictures. The color is somewhat darker. But I like it. 🧡 My skin is of the lightest type (red hair), mature and a bit dry. I used the blush together with Catrice Tinted Moisturizer, setting spray, and setting powder. I liked the result a lot, and I got compliments. 🧡 I believe this blush can compete with bigger well-known brands. It's the packaging they have cut costs on, not the product itself. ℹ️ So about the brand Catrice. Catrice is a German brand, owned by the same company as Essence. The philosophy behind it is to offer good quality without it costing too much. ℹ️ I've also read that Catrice wants to keep up with trends and therefore releases new collections often. This can lead to varying quality. ℹ️ Catrice has been spared from major scandals but has received criticism for short shelf life and products that get damaged during transport. And again, not all products are equally good. ℹ️ Catrice has 100% vegan ingredients, and they have strived to keep the level of microplastics and unwanted substances out of their formulas. ℹ️ Catrice follows EU legislation and does not test on animals. They also do not sell their products to mainland China, where animal testing was previously required. ⭐ But next time I will choose a different shade – and above all, I want to see it before I buy. Because of the color, which does not match the picture or description, I unfortunately have to deduct two stars.
