Standard Reference values Dog PH value 6.5 - 7.5 Human 7.4 Hair 3.67 Scalp 5.5 Face 4.7 - 5.75 Vagina 3.5 - 4.5 Vulva (external) 4.5 - 5.5 Skin in general 5 - 6 (Variations exist for both dogs and humans.) Neutral PH value (water) is 7 Analysis results confirm why Redken works excellently on dogs. And why Redken is not compatible with the scalp if one is to be very critical. But 🟢Redken has a reaction in water and where PH drops immediately from 7.1 to 6.7. PH 6.7 is absolutely great for dogs and nearly perfect for human scalp. 🟢Douxo S3 pH 7.2 and drops to 6.9 Intimate soap contact is intense 🟢Sturm neutral PH 7.0 🟢Yope 7.2 Then one can see the "treating" PH effect. 🟢Douxe S3 contains an addition of OPHYTRIUM, this may cause increased irritation in the skin of dogs. But it can also work therapeutically. Simply guessing. Luck/unluck regarding what causes the initial issue. It has not happened for human skin. Humans were used as test subjects with Ophytrium.
