First and foremost, the flat iron itself is absolutely fine. It’s good, one of the better ones I’ve had. But is the price really worth it? Nja.. I bought my first flat iron from GHD in 2020, and today the third one in line broke, just like the two previous ones I’ve had. Mid-use, it starts to beep strangely and lights up red, and then it dies.
When I bought my first flat iron from GHD, my trojan from another brand (and for a fifth of the price) was taken over by my sister, that flat iron had already had a few years under its belt and is still used diligently almost every day. While I’ve bought three flat irons from GHD during the same period and absolutely haven’t used them to the same extent.
So no. It’s unfortunately not worth the money.
