I think many of the negative reviews are exaggerated. Yes, I can agree that it is special and has a unique scent that didn't match expectations. But it wasn't terrible, was it? It has an "adult" almond scent that might not suit everyone. But it lasts a really long time and has a strong smell to it. I would recommend this to someone looking for a "mature" perfume that holds well. I don't have much negative to say about this scent other than that it hasn't been perceived as matching the descriptors like vanilla and almond.
