This must be a hidden gem?? Like, what a good BB cream! The lightest shade was a perfect match for my pale winter skin, it blends in like A DREAM and gives a really nice finish! This should be way more hyped up than it is. Plus for good packaging with a pump and high SPF, but minus for smelling a bit like sunscreenโฆ? Anyway - this should get more attention! So much glow, many uses ๐
This product has several great uses: โจ primer for extra glow โจ on its own for glow and a bit of color โจ as a highlighter I have used the product as a primer and for glow/a bit of color on my chest when I wore a dress. It blends out easily, gives a lovely finish, and doesn't settle into pores. It blends nicely with both fingers and a brush, but on the body, I found that the brush gave the best result. It reminds me a bit of Dior's star filter highlighter, just at a completely different price ๐ The product is in a tube, and it's easy to control the amount that gets squeezed out. I am quite pale and use the medium shade. Makeup holds and the skin is happy!
This was an exciting product to test! The primer glides easily over the skin and actually feels like a skincare product! It provides a nice base for further makeup. All the makeup I've used over it (foundation, concealer, and the whole package) has worked well with this ๐ The product comes in a pump bottle, which is my favorite. It's economical in use and absorbs nicely into the skin. I feel like the makeup gets a somewhat firmer "grip" on the skin without feeling tight, and that the makeup holds better on long days. As a Lyko influencer, I got to try this mascara! Little did Lyko know that this was already a favorite ๐ before, I only bought mascaras from more expensive brands, but after trying this one from Maybelline, I understand that mascaras can be of good quality without costing an arm and a leg! It's easy to apply, and like with several other mascaras, I find they are best a few weeks after opening when the product has become a bit drier and is even easier to work with, especially if you want to build it up. In the pictures here, I haven't used an eyelash curler, even though it might look that way ๐ It doesn't smudge, holds well all day, and is easy to remove again with makeup remover. I was so excited to test this. I have thick and voluminous hair, so I'm not a big fan of blow-drying it because it takes time. Now I've tried different functions with this - and I love it! The heated brush - genius! I can brush, blow-dry, and straighten my hair with the same tool. It goes surprisingly fast and is easy. I've tried the curling functions, and here I think practice makes perfect ๐ I managed to get some nice waves, but I want to get better! Blow-drying with a brush is probably my favorite so far ๐ Everything comes in a practical box that has space for all the parts. I easily store the box in my closet when it's not in use. Feels luxurious and of good quality. I also didn't use the manual, just tried it out. That means it works just fine, the product is quite intuitive โบ๏ธ The heat and intensity are easily adjusted up and down on the display. It gets quite hot when it's in full swing, so be careful with it when changing attachments. Smells like a hairdresser and freshly washed ๐
I love the scent of this spray. It smells clean and reminds me of a lovely experience at the hairdresser. The spray itself, however - it sprays very hard and concentrated. It doesn't distribute well when sprayed. You either have to spray the hair evenly and comb through, or apply the products in your hands and then to the hair. It sprays so concentrated and aggressively that you can't spray and just leave the hair alone! The hair is easy to comb through with this spray. Nice and of quality
I have used this brush for blush, which I think it is perfect for. For regular powder, I prefer an even bigger brush. Thatโs whatโs so nice about makeup, thereโs no right answer! Itโs just the right weight and just the right softness. The handle looks luxurious and seems to be of good quality. 10/10 highlighter! Gives a lovely glow, perfect for the holiday party season (but I also use it for everyday). The glow lasts all day. Blends out beautifully, and also works wonderfully as eyeshadow. In the picture, I used the bronzer from the same series (terracotta) and this highlighter as eyeshadow. The new packaging from Make Up Store is also really luxurious? Seems to be really good quality and I love the design. Easy to open even with nails, has a mirror and a nice pattern in the product itself. Requires Patience
Was sooooo excited to try this icy gorgeous blush in such a pretty winter pink color! It's often a plus when a blush is lightly pigmented so you can build it up yourself, but that was quite a lot of building ๐ฅธ This one is very lightly pigmented and you have to work on it for a long time. Still, I feel like it gave very little color. Not very impressed, which is a bummer since I LOVE both the bronzer and highlighter in the same series. The new packaging from Make Up Store is really luxurious! Seems to be really good quality and I love the design. Easy to open even with nails, has a mirror and a nice pattern in the product itself. Nice packaging doesn't make up for the product, though.
