Hello! 😊 For length down to the chin, where the goal is volume before the flat iron, I would choose 35 mm, it gives better grip and lift at the roots and a slight bend without obvious curls.
45 mm suits longer hair or when you mainly want to straighten, as it gives less lift on shorter lengths.
For extra volume, lift the sections at the roots and blow-dry from root to tip, overdirect at the crown for extra height and finish with the flat iron on low, medium heat just to polish the lengths, good luck with styling! 🥰
