OK as Leave-in - As a treatment, MEH
The scent is very fresh. The consistency is thick, almost feels like the majority is some kind of thickening agent. Which it also is as the second ingredient after water. It’s pleasant to use and makes hair easier to detangle after washing but I would definitely spend a little more for something better and more moisturizing. After a couple of washes with the treatment included each time, I recently tried using it as a leave-in as well and noticed the best effect there. Not heavy or greasy at all. After washing, the hair feels airy and light, even though I used the whole series (shampoo, treatment, and conditioner – also tried using the treatment as a leave-in and I can recommend that), the hair doesn’t feel weighed down at all which I find very positive – especially since my scalp tends to get oily quite quickly. I often have problems with my scalp and can easily get flakes and sometimes even sores. Trying new products like these can be difficult but the product felt mild and pleasant, I don’t feel my problems got 'worse' from trying it but neither did they get better. My hair type is thin strands, quite thin hair, bleached and therefore dry ends but prone to oily roots. Completely okay but would have rather bought something else for my hair
My first reaction was that the scent is very pleasant and fresh, like the shampoo. Not as watery/thin/runny as I experienced the shampoo either. However, I don't know if the product really penetrates the hair, if I drop a drop on the floor or body it kind of stays there until you wipe it off. Not sure if that's positive but I don't think it does much for my hair, but I also have very dry ends due to bleached hair. After washing, the hair feels airy and light, even though I've used the whole series (Shampoo, treatment, and conditioner – I've also tried using the treatment as a leave-in and I can recommend that) the hair doesn't feel heavy at all which I find very positive – especially since my scalp tends to get oily quite quickly. I don't understand why the conditioner has a pump and not the shampoo. I often have problems with my scalp and can easily get flakes and sometimes even sores. Pleasant scent and mild product but watery/not concentrated
My first reaction was that the scent is very pleasant and fresh, but that it was very watery/thin/runny. Not very concentrated. It definitely requires double shampooing; I have shampooed with this product every time until I felt my hair was clean. That said, quite a lot of product is used since it’s not very concentrated. After washing, the hair feels airy and light, even though I have used the whole series (Shampoo, treatment, and conditioner – I’ve also tried using the treatment as a leave-in, which I can recommend), the hair doesn’t feel weighed down at all, which I find very positive – especially since my scalp tends to get oily quite quickly. Yes, it is the same type of product line, that is, a silver shampoo/conditioner with violet pigments, but with an updated formulation and new name/design. The older line was called Waterclouds Violet Silver Shampoo and Waterclouds Violet Silver Conditioner. It is now marketed as Waterclouds Silver Refine Shampoo 1000 ml and Silver Refine Conditioner. The differences are: New name/branding: “Violet Silver” → “Silver Refine” Updated ingredients: Silver Refine contains, among other things, Sea Kale and betaine instead of the older lavender/B5 formula. Same purpose: to neutralize yellow/warm tones in blonde and gray hair with violet pigments. It is basically the successor to the Violet Silver line. Cool but natural shade on the lips, became go in the face
My first thought was that this would be very dark on me, so I would have never at first glance bought it myself just from seeing the product image. However, it only took itself as a tint and didn't get dark at all. I tried it on my lips a couple of times and really liked the shade and the light gloss. It presents itself as a versatile oil that helps to nourish the lips with a nutrient-rich blend of oils. HOWEVER, I felt that it dried out in the long run and I needed to reapply all the time to not feel that my lips were dry and tightening. For this reason, I would not buy it again, not even in another shade. Then I also tried it as a glowy blush, which I rarely do with products like these, I prefer something in powder form or creamy form that I then set with powder. My experience of this, as that color became very cool on me, was that all the glow held up all day, but when I got home after a workday, I looked more like I had gone out in the skin than rouged. Maybe the shade works better for this purpose on someone else than my skin tone, I am light but warm, slightly olive. It felt like it clashed. The shade did lay nicely on my lips. + The glow, when I had it on my cheeks, held the glow all day. - The color, didn't work on my skin tone on cheeks: became gray/purple during the day.
