    Good for precision

I got to test this tapered precision powder brush from #bylyko as a task for #lykoinflutester I also got to test blush and bronzer along with this and have therefore mainly used it for that, but also a bit of highlighter, and I think it worked best for blush and highlighter. It is very good for achieving good precision and is therefore suitable if you want a defined and more snatched look. For my face, I prefer a softer bronzer look and also blush. I would therefore instead recommend it for contour and highlighter! Otherwise, one of the more “luxurious” feelings I’ve had from a Lyko brush as it has some weight to the handle and the brush feels soft and picks up product well. Definitely a good value powder brush for precision results

    No wow but works

Got to try this Bronzer from #bylyko as #lykoinflutester My first reaction was that it was very lightly pigmented and I had to take a lot on the brush and it crumbled a lot so I had to shake off the brush and work it in. I used Lyko's tapered brush which I also got to try and felt that you had to work layer by layer to get a visible result that was still quite subtle but it might be the chosen color Golden days. I also used another fluffier powder brush and experienced the same thing there, barely any color but a warm tone. So if you take too much it looks weird. This bronzer blended very nicely with the blush I got to try from Lyko. For me who avoids bronzer powder and instead uses cream contour, I liked the light pigmentation as it gave me a light refresh and fits well for summer when you want to look a bit summer-fresh. Felt very light on the skin. Not a product I will use a lot since I prefer contour but if I want a little quick "color" and life in the face I can

    Perfect for a sun-kissed look

I had the honor of testing this blush from #bylyko as #lykoinflutester! I got to choose my own shade and it was heat heart. This color is perfect if you are fair with neutral undertones or slightly cooler tones. The packaging is quite basic and doesn’t stand out, about what you’d expect for the price. Unfortunately, the formula crumbles a lot but is pigmented and picks up well on the brush. The crumbling means you lose some product and it might get a bit messy. However, I haven’t experienced any crumble falling on the face. I think it applies nicely on the skin without becoming patchy for a powder blush. I’m in love with this color and will keep using it until it’s finished! Very impressed with the pigmentation and formula for the low price. The downside is that it crumbles and I might have wished for a little shimmer, but for a matte blush I’m very happy with the result. If you’re on a budget or want an affordable powder blush, I can recommend this! Note that in the last picture I used highlighter #lykoreview

    Perfect retinol for sensitive skin!

#lykotestpilot #drceuracle I got so excited to also try this retinol and PDRN ampoule from my favorite brand. I have previously avoided active ingredients like retinol in my skincare because I have very sensitive skin and have had mild rosacea issues before. When I read that this helps build up the skin barrier and is a good beginner retinol, I got really excited. I liked the bottle a lot as it was very easy to open, light, and felt hygienic. However, the dropper was a bit stiff and didn’t dispense much product. The product’s texture was a bit “stringy” and sticky. I couldn’t detect any particular scent, which is great if you’re sensitive to fragrance in skincare. It absorbed very well into the skin without making it oily, which was great for finishing with moisturizer and SPF. It works fine under makeup; I haven’t noticed any difference from before. Since I’m new to retinol, I started carefully using it almost every evening, then moved to using it morning and evening a few days a week. I haven’t noticed a big difference in elasticity yet, but I suspect my reduced pores and improved skin texture are due to this in combination with the matcha essence I also got to try during the same period! I had a few breakouts on my problem areas “chin” near the nose and on the forehead, but now they’ve started to calm down. It’s probably an adjustment period and this is a stronger active ingredient than what I’m used to. The left picture is after the test period. I would still say it suits sensitive skin, and if you have enlarged pores or are unhappy with your skin texture, this might help you. I will probably continue to use this in the evenings, and it works excellently with my skincare routine that I had before the test period. #lykoreview

Fantastic for dry and sensitive skin!

I've been able to try this for about 3 weeks now! So exciting because the last time I tried a toner from Dr Ceuracle, I was blown away! I love almost everything I've tried from the brand. I have dry, sensitive skin with mild rosacea but a tendency to get some pimples from time to time. My first impression was that the glass bottle was very heavy and felt very luxurious! The product dispensed well without being too thick or too runny. The formula was a bit watery but still easy to apply to the face. I love how the skin soaks up moisture immediately with this! The first thing I noticed, though, was the scent! It wasn’t perfumed but reminded me of rubber/balloon. It wasn’t super strong and faded pretty quickly, so it wasn’t a problem to have it on my face. However, my hands smelled a bit rubbery/balloon-like. It was a bit unpleasant at first, but now I’m used to it. I don’t know if it’s this or the retinol ampoule I tried, but my pores have really shrunk and are less “rough,” and my skin has gotten a really nice texture! What I love most about this is that it hasn’t caused any reaction and soothes the skin. It can feel a bit oily, so I don’t think this is for oily skin. But if you have dry and sensitive skin like me, you’ll love this if you can live with the slightly “rubbery” scent, which probably comes from the matcha. The left picture is before using this, and the right is after about 3 weeks with it #lykotestpilot #drceuracle. #lykoreview

    Strong scent but very moisturizing

As a selected #lykotestpilot, I got to test this cleansing foaming gel from one of my favorite skincare brands #drceuracle I have previously used other products like the night cream and BHA toner from the Hyal Reyouth series, and right now the night cream is my last step in the evening. I have sensitive skin with mild rosacea and occasionally get pimples that can flare up from overly strongly scented products or strong active ingredients. I also have very sensitive eyes due to a flare-up of eczema on my eyelid right now, so I am extra sensitive around that area. At first, I tried to use it to remove all makeup including eye makeup, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. The product has a very strong scent which irritated my eyes a lot, so I have only used it after removing makeup with micellar water as the last cleansing step. So I have only used this in the evenings after makeup removal. I used it a bit cautiously at first, and when I did use it, I experienced that the skin was left moisturized and soft and that very little product is needed. It still gets good ratings for the formula, which is very pleasant on the skin despite my slight reaction to the scent. The skin feels very clean and suits dry skin! I probably wouldn’t buy it again because of this, and I’m unsure if I got a few more pimples because of this or if it’s one of the other two products I got to test along with this, but I will try to use it up and see. Also, I don’t think it has done any miracles in terms of cleansing. If you’re not sensitive to scent, you will love this! Probably also suitable for oily skin as I don’t feel greasy. The packaging is super good as there is a small place for a spatula that is included and the lid is flip-top! Makes application very easy. #lykoreview

    For natural on fleek eyebrows

I usually use micro eyebrow pencils but can’t get hair-like strokes, so I’ve previously used “marker” eyebrow pencils but they often look very unnatural and shinier, so this pencil is totally my style! The right picture is with this pencil and the left is with another micro pencil. #lykoreview

Good cream for the cold season

I have been lucky to receive this product sent home as #lykoinflutester via #larocheposay I have previously bought this product myself as I was recommended it due to my dry skin. I have atopic eczema, and in the past year, I have developed stubborn patches of eczema on my eyelid/brow bone. Therefore, I have used this cream primarily on them and also on my dry elbows. Since I used this a long time ago and didn't get hooked, it was fun to do a proper test again. The product is very economical, and you need very little product, so I think the product is very good value for money. The consistency of the product is something I have a bit of trouble with, and in previous purchases, I have reacted to it; it is very thick and takes a bit of time to blend into the skin. It takes a while before the white cream blends in and is not visible on the skin. It becomes very greasy once it has sunk in. So therefore, this cream is something I would primarily use at night or when I have very extremely dry patches or use very little product during the day. The positive I have experienced with this product is that it is very soothing for my eczema and helps to reduce the "flaking" and redness. I have used this cream a bit sporadically to assess the difference it makes and have found that after 1-2 days of consecutive use (morning and evening) on my brow bone/eyelids, the eczema is practically unnoticeable. However, due to my skin diagnosis, it takes very little for it to flare up, e.g., from using makeup. So this product is not something I have experienced as a miracle product against eczema, but absolutely a lifesaver for dry skin during the winter months. This product is a very good product to have at home and use as needed, especially now during the colder season. I think this product is reparative and works excellently for dry skin, but what brings down the rating for me is the consistency as I find it a bit hard to absorb/mix. But it is definitely a product I will have at home as it is very economical and lasts a long time and is necessary for those times when you have extremely dry patches.

    Moisturized without a sticky feeling!

As #lykoinflutester, I got to test this lotion from #cerave I have previously tried a few products from Cerave, but nothing has stood out significantly or made it into my skincare routine as a go-to, so it was really fun to test this to explore what the brand has to offer. I have very sensitive skin with dry patches on my elbows, and dry patches on my face around the eyes, on the forehead, and chin. Additionally, I get quite oily around my nose but dry on the bridge of my nose, so moisturizing is 95% of my skincare routine. I usually use a lot of products that contain hyaluronic acid as my skin thrives best on it. During the time I have tested the product, I have mainly used it on my face as a day cream but also on my body. The first impression of the packaging was nothing remarkable, but I really liked the pump, and the product was easy to dispense without splattering. The product itself was very light and thinner than the creams I usually use for my face, but that’s because this is a lotion and I usually use cream. I really like how light it feels on the skin, but it’s noticeable that it moisturizes as I haven’t experienced any tightness in my face despite the light and non-sticky consistency. It gives a fresh impression of moisturized skin but no special glow. The product sits really nicely on the skin and works great under makeup, almost as if my base sits better than the previous day cream I used, and I feel that the need to mattify shiny areas has decreased compared to previous creams. On the body, this lotion is perfect if you are like me and dislike the feeling of heavy creams that leave a greasy and unclean feeling. I usually only apply it to the areas that are noticeably dry because of this. But now that I like the consistency on the skin and it absorbs quickly, it feels like I have found a go-to body cream but also a day cream. The only negative I can think of about this product is that it provides light moisture, so it needs to be combined with a heavier/fatter cream for my driest areas not to dry out during the day. So in summary, this product is tailor-made for those of you who have sensitive and very dry skin but dislike the feeling of stickiness. The best thing about this product is really how it has such a light and pleasant consistency.
