Nice for blush and highlighter
This brush does what it’s supposed to – easy to apply products and blend out, not too big so it can also be used to apply bronzer as eyeshadow, for example. It would be great with a duo brush – either for eyeshadow or bronzer, that could also help justify the price. Lovely blush, worth the money?
I think this product was absolutely lovely. Points for the mirror in the lid, very practical! Not entirely thrilled about the cardboard packaging, feels a bit cheap and not very sturdy. The blush gives a super nice glow and shimmer – maybe a bit too much of the latter, especially if you have lines or a drier skin type. But definitely a nice result in my opinion, with the right prep. The price is too high – although I have paid a bit more for blush from more "hyped" brands before. But then they had more exclusive packaging and maybe a slightly better result. At the same time, I think super affordable blush from e.g. H&M can be perfectly fine for me! Almost there
I am (of course) very fond of eyeshadow palettes with colors that work well together and offer many possibilities. This one is almost there, but it won’t get a perfect score from me. The shimmery colors are beautiful on and quite good to work with. But the darkest one is a bit hard for me to find a use for; I would have preferred a more versatile and less harsh color. Unfortunately, the matte colors are a bit dry, not quite my thing. The palette has a mirror in the lid, which is great. And the colors offer many possibilities – but I could definitely have wanted even more 😎 I think the price is high, so my expectations are also correspondingly high. New favorite for long treated hair
Super good conditioner that makes a noticeable difference. I can comb through towel-dried and half-dried hair without major issues after using this. And usually, I have to apply quite a bit of leave-in conditioner to achieve this in an okay way. In the pictures, my hair is just air-dried, but I still think it’s just smooth enough for me. I concentrate this on the lengths while washing, but I also apply a bit to the scalp on areas that can be a bit irritated and dry. Pleasant and not too strong scent. Economical and good consistency. The bottle is trendy with fresh nice colors, but it’s a bit difficult to get the product out. The plastic also bulges after just a few uses, so there are some ugly dents in the bottle. Ok serum for dry skin
I have dry and sensitive skin. Normally, I use a hyaluronic acid serum for moisture, and a BHA serum for exfoliation (Both are sold at Lyko). I like products that don't promise too much, and preferably have few ingredients focusing on what actually has a proven effect. Klairs' slogan «simple but enough» made me a bit surprised by the long ingredient list of the serum. Does everything really need to be there? It feels totally okay on the skin, and together with the face cream from the same brand, my skin got a nice glow. I don't notice such a big difference in moisture levels maybe, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing either! So the serum probably does a similar job as what I usually use 👍🏻 But I unfortunately experienced some irritation in my eyes. When there are so many ingredients, it's hard to say what might have caused a reaction. I therefore make sure not to apply it too close to my eyes. What's the verdict? I think ultimately that you probably get more effect and more for your money by going for cheaper serums that contain so to say only hyaluronic acid to get more moisture. But that's my personal opinion and not necessarily applicable to everyone else's skin! ♥️ Otherwise, great with a pump bottle, and it's a good size for the bottle compared to similar products. Good but beware if you have sensitive eyes
I am loyal to a thick and simple face cream without perfume from another brand that Lyko sells, so I was naturally a bit excited to break up my routine with this cream from Klairs. I have a dry and sensitive skin type and like to go with gentle exfoliation and lots of moisture. 💧 I think my skin looks nice and a bit shiny/glossy in a good way when I use this. So unfortunately comes the downside - I react a bit to something in the cream, so if I apply it too close to my eyes, it irritates. I didn't apply it all the way in, but still got such a reaction. So unfortunately, I think this will have to be used on hands and body going forward. 🙈 The packaging: when I opened the box and saw the tube, I was a bit disappointed because it looked very much like an old-fashioned metal/aluminum tube, but it is plastic. It's not a crisis in my opinion, but there is something charming about the real version of the look Klairs has gone for. I also wish the cap was attached to the tube and didn't have to be screwed on and off, it's so easy to lose it on the floor. The ingredients are also only listed on the cardboard packaging, not on the tube itself. Nice for ‘taming’
I often use this in the lengths after blow-drying (I use other heat-protective products then), to smooth out frizz and postpartum hair. I also often apply it again in the lengths the day after washing to protect the hair a little extra!
