    Gentle cleanser

This is a staple in my cosmetics cabinet. Suitable for my sensitive acne-prone skin, causes no reactions, and the skin feels calm after cleansing.

    Classic Favorite

I first got this in a cosmetics advent calendar and have since bought the product several times again. The perfect lip moisturizer. Feels quite unobtrusive on the lips, meaning it doesn't leave a thick greasy layer. Spreads very easily. Great for everyday use and also as a base for a more noticeable lip makeup. The scent of the product is very subtle and fresh. I don't like strong scents myself, so I think this would suit others who are "sensitive" as well. :)

    Irritates the skin

It doesn't seem to suit me. I tried this for the first time on the chin area, where my skin is the most uneven. I didn't apply a large amount, but the skin started almost immediately to tingle/burn in a way that suggests irritation or even an allergic reaction. The tingling is also felt on the lips, an area where I didn't apply the product. I had to wash the product off my face after a short time. I don't know if I dare to try this again. I recommend others to do a small test on the wrist skin before starting use; I should have done that myself. I have previously used other products containing SA as an ingredient, as well as other LRP products, so I am a bit surprised by this reaction. The product also has quite a strong scent. It's a bit strange that this is advertised as hypoallergenic. It's a shame because it was quite an expensive miss. 😔

Hi Madde! 💙 Thank you so much for sharing your experience. Sorry to hear that the product didn’t seem to suit your skin and that you had a reaction. If your skin starts to sting, burn, or feel clearly irritated, it’s best to stop using the product and rinse it off – just like you did. Even though the product is developed for sensitive skin and marketed as hypoallergenic, skin reactions can be very individual, and sometimes the skin can react to a specific ingredient even if similar products have worked fine before. A good tip is always to do a small patch test on a small area of skin before applying a new product to your entire face, especially if it contains active ingredients or if your skin is sensitive. If you want tips on products that might suit your skin, I’d recommend contacting our cosmetologists at the following address 👉 hudterapeuten@lyko.com Have a wonderful day! 🌞

    Positive surprise for acne-prone skin

I bought this because of the good reviews, as I struggle with acne-prone skin. However, I approached the product with fairly cautious expectations because products that often work for others with acne don’t necessarily make any difference on my skin. The product pleasantly surprised me and it genuinely feels like it soothes my often inflamed acne a bit. I use it after cleansing my face, before moisturizing. After about a month of use, I think this will become a permanent addition to my routine, to be used whenever my acne flares up. The product does smell a bit like chlorine, but somehow I like the scent. 😅 The scent does fade quickly after spraying.

Is it compatible with the Clinisooth spray?

Can I use this together with the Clinisooth Skin Purifier spray? I often have deep under-the-skin (and painful!) acne spots on my chin and I am interested in trying retinol, which is new to me. This CeraVe product caught my attention since I also use the same brand's SA cleanser.
