Luxurious but Kerastase can do better

The first thing that must be said about this night serum is the scent. It is more masculine than the other products in the series and almost a bit too strong when you lay your head on the pillow at night. But having said that, it is a good serum. The consistency is just right to distribute it evenly in the hair, and I find my hair softer in the morning. However, my blonde highlights need a bit more TLC than this offers, so I kindly but firmly go back to Kerastase Cica Nuit. Makes hair soft and shiny

This mask is really luxurious! Quite a thick consistency that comes in a jar, I would have liked to see it in a tube as it’s easier in the shower. But on the other hand, the luxury of a black jar with a gold lid in the shower has its charm. The mask absorbs quite quickly and leaves soft and shiny hair. My thin, Scandinavian hair definitely doesn’t get weighed down by it, just rehydrated. The reason it doesn’t get a full score is that this series doesn’t really do much for hair if you have problems like some other Kerastase series do. But if you don’t have any hair problems and just want a really good and luxurious mask, then I would definitely go for this one! Everyday Luxury!

This shampoo is that extra luxury in the shower! Creamy consistency that smells magical. Many think it smells masculine, but I don’t quite agree. The first wash doesn’t lather very much, but on the second wash it gives lots of lovely foam. The hair becomes clean, smooth, and soft. Just like other shampoos from Kerastase, it keeps that clean feeling for a long time. Why it doesn’t get full marks from me is that it doesn’t really add that much. Kerastase has better shampoos if you have problems that actually help. But if you don’t have any issues with your hair and just want to wash it and have a nice feeling during and after the shower, then this shampoo is for you! Okay budget option

Nice packaging and just the right spray. Smells fresh. I might have had slightly higher expectations than what was delivered. My hair felt a bit fresher for a moment and a little more voluminous, but I thought it settled a bit too quickly. My thin, typically Scandinavian hair might not be the easiest to "fluff up". If you're looking for a quick budget option, I can recommend it, but it's not the best I've tried. Affordable Conditioner

I have tested this conditioner for a few weeks along with the shampoo in the same series. Elvital makes, in my opinion, very affordable hair care products, so this one too. It is a good everyday conditioner but did not give any special volume. It also does not weigh down the hair, which some other conditioners tend to do. Nice consistency, smells good, and makes the hair easier to detangle, so it absolutely does its job in that respect. Does its job but the volume is missing

Pretty okay shampoo, smells good, smooths nicely and cleans the hair. The packaging is nice and easy to use as it should be. But my thin, fine Scandinavian hair didn't get any special volume boost from it. Elvital has, in my opinion, very reasonably priced shampoos, so this one too, but as mentioned, I didn't get the volume result I might have hoped for. New favorite!

I needed to try to save my bleached, thin, Scandinavian hair and was holding a significantly more expensive hair mask when an employee at Lyko in Kungsbacka recommended this one. It wasn't particularly expensive (maybe even cheap), so I thought I'd give it a try. Already after the first use, I actually noticed a difference (and I've tried a ton of hair masks). So, super affordable, and it will definitely be a repurchase. At least!

    Shine without the grease!

I have that typical Scandinavian hair; thin and flat with a bit of natural wave. Bleached highlights and currently damaged and in great need of a trim. I have previously been quite cautious with hair oils as I mostly find they make my hair greasy, even if I only use it on the ends. But! Not this one! The bottle is small and handy and fits easily in both my toiletry bag and handbag when I'm on the go. I take one pump and distribute it in my hands before applying it to the lengths. Now I have tested the entire range, so I don't know if it's just the oil, but my hair becomes easy to detangle, stays fresh for a long time, and is shiny without being flat. Sometimes I do an extra treatment on dry hair before bed to boost a little, no greasy spots on the pillow the next morning. I have been using the range for 2 weeks, so it's a bit early to see long-lasting effects, but the bottle is meant to be used up, that's for sure. I think the entire Ultimate Smooth range from Wella Professionals is impressive and holds the same quality as significantly more expensive brands. Moisturizing and smells good

I have that typical Scandinavian hair; thin and flat with a bit of frizz. Bleached highlights and currently damaged and in great need of a haircut. The mask comes in a jar with a screw lid, something I might find a bit cumbersome in the shower. I prefer a tube with a cap if I’m being picky. The consistency is just right and can easily be massaged into the hair. The scent is nice but discreet. I massage the mask in with every wash (not necessary but a habit I have with my hair), let it sit for a few minutes, and rinse out. I find my hair more moisturized and less frizzy, despite all the split ends. Easy to detangle afterwards. Doesn’t get flat and greasy like some masks can when there’s a bit too much pressure in them. I think this Wella Ultimate Smooth series gives a lot of Bang for the bucks, so to speak. These are products that can absolutely be compared to significantly more expensive brands, but at a more reasonable price. I can definitely recommend trying it if you’re curious, I was pleasantly surprised. The review was conducted on behalf of Smartson - the test pilot was allowed to try the product for free.

    Exceeds Expectations

I have that typical Scandinavian hair; thin and flat with a bit of frizz. Bleached highlights and currently damaged and in great need of a haircut. The conditioner comes in a practical tube that stands stable in the shower. The consistency is just right, it doesn't run out of your hand and can easily be massaged into the hair. The scent is nice but discreet. It's hard to give a fair review just for the conditioner since I tested the whole line at once, but I think the hair became significantly easier to detangle after washing, despite all the damaged ends that tangle together. Unlike some "Smooth" conditioners, it doesn't weigh the hair down, but at the same time, I avoid all the frizz. The price tag on this conditioner is definitely reasonable in relation to the results, few conditioners have handled my tangles as well as this one.
