Hi, I wonder if this damages my hair like bleaching? Will it become dry and orange? I have red hair originally but have dyed it dark brown to lighter back and forth for several years, I'm afraid it will become patchy and orange.

Since you have naturally red hair and have dyed it dark brown and then lighter back and forth over several years, I would be a bit extra careful. Hair that has been previously dyed can react differently, and there is a risk that the result will be uneven or pull towards warm/orange tones when the hair is lightened. It is also difficult to predict the exact result when the hair has a longer color history.
I would therefore recommend that you first do a test on a small hair strand, preferably from an area that is not so visible. Then you can see both how the hair reacts and what color tone you get before treating the whole hair. 💕
If your hair already feels dry or brittle, I would also recommend being extra careful with lightening.
