    Question about the color

    Would the color Shale look gray or purple? I'm looking for the perfect cool purple shade and checking this one out

      Hello Ninel E! 👋 What a great question! I would say both, but mostly purple. Shale is a cool mauve-purple with a satin finish and a slightly gray/taupe base, so it can lean more purple in daylight (especially on cool undertones) and a bit more gray/mole in warmer light. To get it as cool purple as possible, apply it over a white or cool purple base/liner, pack the shadow on the lid first and only lightly blend the edges, and use a neutral/cool transition shade around the crease. If you're aiming for a really pure blue-toned purple, Shale's gray base might feel softer than you want, but for a sophisticated cool purple everyday tone, it works nicely.     Oh no

    Not great at all. It was impossible to get it on the brush, it was barely pigmented, applied strangely on some of my drier patches on my face, and was very patchy. Yuck no! Don’t buy this, save your money and buy something better!

    Meh, about this one

    I was so excited for this mascara, like the packaging is sooo pretty, the ratings were pretty good, and Anastasia has always been such an "It-girl" brand for me. But the mascara was unfortunately not great for me for four reasons: 1. It flaked a lot, got a bunch of small mascara chunks under and in my eyes 2. My eyes got a bit swollen after about 20 minutes of wearing it 3. It holds the lashes full poorly and for me it damaged my lashes quite a bit 4. After only being open for a month, I found a big wax clump in the tube, yuck! I've always closed the tube properly, so that was really unacceptable for such an expensive mascara But otherwise, it looks nice for about the first 5 minutes. Maybe it works for you reading this post.
