The easiest plant dye
Easier to use than many other plant dyes I've tried. I mix black and deep chestnut, which gives a natural black shade. My own hair is reddish-brown. The indigo base pigment is green, so it might create a green shade on light/gray hair. Gray hair should first be dyed with a warm shade. You can find good instructions for this on the Ecohair Hanna page :) You can use search terms like pre-pigmentation or double dyeing.
