I went to the hairdresser to get some light highlights, and she also put a little gold/copper color in the hair roots so the highlights would blend nicely into the hair. They looked good in the salon afterwards. (The hairdresser has very bright lights in the salon, so they looked okay there). I come home and wash my hair after 3 days, my hair is orange and striped with very many highlights underneath as well. I get to come back for free and get more highlights, and she would put in a slightly cool tone to remove the orange. I thought they looked a little weird in the salon, a bit gray and dull. I come home, the hair roots are in an ugly dark dark brown-gray color, my highlights that I had in all my hair are overdyed, and all the highlights are partially brushed, and the whole hair is in brown-gray and green tones. I cry and feel so bad. I’m supposed to come back again and get it fixed in 2 weeks. Is there anything I can do myself, does Olaplex No.4C work for me to get the dark and green color out? Or what should the hairdresser do to get it back to what I had before? Showing before and after pictures.

Hey Paow! 👋🏼😊
I understand that you are sad, it’s tough when the hair doesn’t turn out as you thought 😏 Olaplex No.4C is a good deep cleansing shampoo for the hair, but it doesn’t remove color pigments, instead I recommend Malibu C un do goo, it can soften unwanted tones, but don’t over-treat at home, every 4-5 washes is enough 🥰

The best thing is to let the hairdresser correct the color with more foil highlights and a toner that balances the shades. Until the follow-up visit, you can use strengthening and moisturizing products and be gentle with your hair, so it’s in the best condition before the correction 🤍
