Extra moisture for dry eyes
The winter cold has really not been kind to the skin around my eyes this past month. With temperatures around -10 degrees, the area around my eyes has felt drier than ever – tight, thin, and almost a little wrinkled from all the dryness. So when I as #lykotestpilot received #kiehls Creamy Eye Treatment, it felt almost like perfect timing on the order. The first thing I noticed was how rich the consistency is. It’s creamy, almost a little greasy, but melts nicely in when you gently pat it in. It feels instantly softening, especially in the mornings when the skin feels the driest, wrinkliest, and most tired. What stood out to me was how moisturizing it is without becoming heavy or sticky. Many richer eye creams can feel too greasy or leave a film, but this one sinks in nicely and feels balanced despite its rich consistency. It works just as well in the morning as it does in the evening and gives a long-lasting soft feeling. For me, it absolutely lived up to expectations – especially in this cold climate where few products help my skin. A little about me: I’m 39 years old, have dry skin by nature, and the area around my eyes is especially vulnerable in winter. I easily get dry lines and atopic eczema on my eyelid. When my skin gets really dry, it looks almost wrinklier than it actually is, so I’m very picky when it comes to my skincare. The result was softer, more hydrated skin around the eyes and less prominent dryness lines. That “wrinkle-dry” feeling calmed down, and the skin looked plumper and smoother. To boost extra, I’ve used the Revive Eye Serum from Beauty of Joseon under the eye cream, and together they’ve given a great and moisturizing result. The combination has really helped the skin feel restored despite the cold when I often get dry patches. A product that came just when I needed it most, and I will definitely buy it again! ✨1 product in post Extra moisture for dry eyes27 views - The post was made 13 hoursRating: 5 out of 5verified customer
Favorite in Rewind
As #lykotestpilot I got to try #kiehls Ultra Facial Cream, and I really understand why it’s a favorite among so many. I have bought it myself before and loved how it balances hydration with a light feel on the skin. The consistency is creamy but light, melts right into the skin, and leaves no heavy or sticky feeling. What always stands out about this cream is how long-lasting the hydration feels on the skin. It gives the skin a soft result without feeling greasy, which is perfect when the temperature is around -10 and the skin otherwise becomes tight and dry. It truly lives up to my high expectations – which isn’t so easy when you have dry skin like I do. And the price? Totally reasonable for the quality you get. A little about me: I am 39 years old, have dry skin by nature, and am extra sensitive during the winter months. Since I really am a dry skin type, I usually alternate about once a week with Weleda Skin Food for an extra boost when my skin needs it. I need products that really hydrate without feeling heavy. The result is soft, hydrated, and balanced skin. For an extra boost, you can combine it with serum or, as I do, with a dollop of Skin Food sometimes. A bonus – it’s available for purchase in refill, which feels both smart and sustainable! 🌿1 product in post Favorite in Rewind35 views - The post was made 13 hoursRating: 5 out of 5
Thick, gel-like, and magical for us dry skin types
As #lykotestpilot I got to try #kiehls Ultra Facial Cleanser and my first impression was actually a bit surprising, in a very good way. I usually use a foam variant, so I'm used to light, airy cleansers that lather up a lot right away. This one had instead a thick, almost gel-like but at the same time creamy consistency that felt both luxurious and different. It cleanses thoroughly but without making the skin feel tight afterwards, and that says a lot when you're a dry skin type like me. Additionally, it removed all my makeup without any problems, which I didn't really expect from such a mild cleanser. No mascara left under the eyes, no foundation smudged around, just clean skin. It absolutely lives up to my expectations, and then some. A bit about me: I have dry skin year-round and notice right away if a cleanser is too strong. I easily get that tight, almost itchy feeling afterwards, especially from foaming products. That's why I'm quite picky when it comes to cleansers. The result is skin that feels clean, soft, and hydrated at the same time. No tightness or need to run straight to the moisturizer. For me, this was a positive surprise, especially since I usually prefer foam. ✨1 product in post Thick, gel-like, and magical for us dry skin types27 views
