Got red and skin was damaged
I have done brow lift before at a salon without any problems and also regularly use lash lift, never had any reaction. Therefore, I felt safe doing this myself at home. I did not do any allergy test, as I have never reacted before, and there was no clear warning in the instructions about how strong the products are or how much to use. It only said that you “can do a test if you are allergic,” nothing more. I followed the instructions that came with the kit. During the treatment, it felt like it was tingling a bit, but I thought that’s normal with chemicals. But when I removed the last product, I immediately saw how red I had become above the eyebrows. The pain just got worse. It burned, stung, and I couldn’t even comb through my eyebrows afterward. Now I’m trying to rebuild the skin, but the area is still very red and irritated. I had to cancel an event I was supposed to attend because I couldn’t wear makeup on top, and I felt completely destroyed in my face. I do not recommend this kit to anyone. It feels incredibly sad to have paid so much for a product that damaged my skin and made me so upset. This should not be sold without clearer warnings and safety information.Translated from swedish

That a treatment meant to uplift your daily life instead leads to pain and discomfort is of course unfortunate, especially when you’ve followed the instructions and had previous experience ❤ I hope the redness subsides soon 🥰 It’s always a good idea to do an allergy test with this type of chemical treatment – even if you’ve never reacted before. Skin can change over time, and some products can be stronger than those used in salons. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need help with something soothing or repairing for your skin. Sensitive Skin
Hey! I have very sensitive skin and my biggest problem is visible pores. I'm considering using the Blemish Control Cleanser along with the acid from the same collection (Blemish Control). Do you think it will work for me, or is there another cleanser and acid that is better for visible pores and sensitive skin?Translated from swedish
1 product in post Sensitive Skin2347 views- Customer service at Lyko7 monthsHey Sarah! This cleanser contains 2% salicylic acid, niacinamide, and ceramides that cleanse the skin, reduce excess oil, and minimize visible pores and breakouts, while protecting the skin's moisture barrier. It is suitable for daily use on acne-prone skin but can be a bit strong for sensitive skin if used too often. Start cautiously to avoid irritation. Instead of an acid, I would recommend this one. It is gentle, so you can use it every day. Tips tips! lyko.com/sv/dermalogica/dermalogica-daily-microfoliant-13g Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant is a mild, rice-based enzyme exfoliant that activates with water and gently exfoliates the skin for a clearer and softer complexion. Good luck!
