    Azelaic acid

If I have rosacea and have previously had perioral dermatitis, is it okay to use this serum? I've read that azelaic acid can help calm rosacea, but I'm unsure since my skin is extremely sensitive! 😊

Hi Selma, It's great that you're being cautious with your skin, especially since you've had both rosacea and perioral dermatitis. Azelaic acid is actually one of the ingredients that is often recommended for rosacea because it can have both soothing and anti-inflammatory effects. At the same time, even mild acids can be perceived as active on very sensitive skin. If you've had perioral dermatitis, it's extra important to introduce new products carefully. I would recommend starting by testing the serum on a small area, for example behind the ear or along the jawline, and using it a few times a week to start with. Avoid combining it with other active ingredients at first and make sure your skin is properly moisturized. If you feel stinging, increased redness, or discomfort that doesn't subside, you should pause. Regarding this product, it is more suitable for combination, oily skin as well as for skin prone to acne and blemishes. Hi Selma😊 Thank you for your question✨ It varies greatly how individual skin reacts. For some, The Ordinary Azelaic Acid 10% can help with perioral dermatitis, but the effect varies and should be used with caution – especially if you have sensitive or reactive skin. The product contains a milder concentration than what is often used for PD and what is prescribed after assessment by a dermatologist (commonly 15–20%), but it can still help calm inflammation and even out skin tone for some. Others may find that it triggers and worsens. ✅ Benefits: mild, barrier-friendly, some research supports use for PD ⚠️ Keep in mind: introduce slowly, patch test first, avoid other strong active ingredients at the same time Don't forget sunscreen during the day! If the skin becomes irritated or does not improve within a few weeks – pause and consider consulting a dermatologist instead 👩🏻‍⚕️ Hope the answer can guide you and that you have a lovely day🍂

    Essence toner

I have acne-prone skin that can be quite oily in some areas and dry in others. Could this maybe work for me? I get bumps so easily 😞!

Hi Selma😊 Thank you for your question!✨ This is a mild and hydrating toner that often suits sensitive, combination, and acne-prone skin. It has very few ingredients, and many appreciate it just for moisturizing without feeling greasy. One tip regardless is to start cautiously – begin with the small bottle lyko.com/sv/pyunkang-yul/pyunkang-yul-essence-toner-30-ml try a few times a week – and see how your skin reacts. Hope you enjoy it and have a lovely day🌞

    Question

I have a combination skin type, can sometimes get a bit oily in the t-zone but dry on the nose and eyes. I also tend to have bumpy skin, would this work for me? 😇

Hi Selma😊 Thank you for your question✨ This can definitely work for a combination skin type like yours. It hydrates without feeling heavy, and contains niacinamide which can help with both oiliness and bumps, depending on what causes them. As always, skin can react differently from person to person - a tip is to start cautiously, a couple of times a week, and see how your skin responds. Wishing you good luck!🌞

    Reason for texture

I wouldn't say I have oily skin, but I easily get bumps and have sensitive skin, not sure if I should order the light or the regular version?

Hey Selma! This toner is great for someone with sensitive and a bit oily skin in some areas. This little gem is gentle as it contains chamomile! 🙏 Try experimenting with applying it using a cotton pad or patting it in directly with your hands 🥰
