Does the perfume need to mature?

It seems like many people have problems with it smelling like antibac and the scent disappearing quickly. When I tried a friend's perfume, it smelled really good and lasted long, which was also the reason I bought it. But when I got it home, it smelled like antibac and the scent disappeared immediately, not that sweet good scent like my friend's perfume. I wonder why that is. Do we get so many strange batches or does the perfume need to "mature"?

Hello Tilda 👋 I understand that you get curious when the perfume smells different than when you tested it, and of course, we will clarify that! Perfumes can have some variation in scent depending on the batch because perfume contains many different fragrance ingredients and natural raw materials that can vary slightly depending on the manufacturing time. The scent can also be affected when a perfume has been opened for a while, so it might be that the scent has changed a bit in the bottle your friend tested 💞 A tip if you feel the perfume disappears quickly is to apply it on moisturized skin at pulse points and let the scent absorb without rubbing 🥰 All the best! ✨
