    Disappointed

So hard to find an Ash Brown color treatment, so I was so happy when I saw this. Luckily, I only tested it on one strand recently for 3 minutes and it turned completely purple 😭 doesn't seem to have any brown pigments in it. It looks like silver shampoo, the same purple color that my hair also turned. It smells good at least.

Hi Viktoria! 🥰 There are a few different reasons why hair can turn purple: If the hair is too light, bleached, or porous (e.g., light blonde or previously stripped), the cool pigments in Ash Brown (blue and violet undertones) can come through much stronger than expected – resulting in a purple/blue tone. Damaged or porous hair absorbs pigment unevenly, which can lead to patches or unexpected tones – like purple in certain areas. If you want help looking into what happened here when your hair turned purple, you can either email our hairdressers at frisoren@lyko.com 📧 or take our hair color test that you can find in the Lyko app under the Search function - BeautyScan, so our hairdressers can help you find the right product for your hair and desired result ❤ Have a nice day 🌞

    Satisfied!!

Works really well. Had dark brown hair (picture 1), previously had red and black. After one package, my hair is light brown/orange (picture 2). I will do another round to get out as much red pigment as possible and wait a week before I dye to an ash color. Plus, it doesn't smell nearly as bad as everyone says, I think it hardly smells at all.
