It works well as a powder that dissolves in water, but it is important to rub it well between your palms until the grains are completely dissolved and turn into foam. I experience this as a mild exfoliation that has not triggered redness or affected my sensitive skin. After just under three weeks of use, I notice some improvement in the bumps on my cheeks, although it is still early to fully conclude. Still, I find that this gives the skin a nice glow and a smooth, fresh base under makeup. Light in texture and absorbs quickly. It has not triggered my sensitive skin or redness. So far, I don't feel a strong need for a vitamin C serum in my routine, but I can definitely see myself buying this again when the need arises. I have also noticed an improvement in the skin, especially small bumps on the cheeks have become smaller since I started using it. A small downside is that it contains essential oils. Still, I have sensitive skin and have not experienced any reaction or irritation.
