Super good!
I have previously used an AHA toner from the same brand, and wanted to try another chemical peel as well. I have tested this a couple of times both on my face and lower legs (I have a bit of keratosis pilaris that gets worse in the winters). Haven't seen any big difference yet, but at least it hasn't irritated my skin. Is it supposed to be washed off?
It says in the description that the product should be washed off after 20 minutes, but in the reviews of the product, most don’t mention doing that, but use it before the moisturizer. A bit too much hassle to rinse off, easy to forget, is it really necessary? If your skin is sensitive, you can rinse it off after about 20 minutes, but many use it without rinsing. When it comes to Paula's Choice retinal, it's best to avoid using them in the same routine. Surprised
This product has really surprised me. I have previously used serums with various acids. They have clearly stung the skin. Something that can always be a bit stressful. This one didn't smell strong or cause any stinging/burning. The skin feels really fresh and glowing after this is applied. I see a significant difference after short use. I miss better instructions. I wish it was easy to figure out where in the skincare routine it should be used, but also what to avoid using with it. The only thing that is stated on the product is that it should be used on cotton pads and wiped over the face, avoiding the eyes and mouth area. Used 1-2 times a week at the start. It would be nice to have substantial information so you don't have to look this up yourself. Then the product would be more usable. I have spots/bumps on my forehead and after reading around a bit, I'm pretty sure it's white pores. I started cleansing every day with Cera Ve smoothing cleanser and Aco face scrub 2 times a week. But I haven't seen any bigger difference for a while, only that they've gotten smaller. So I thought this product could be good. But the AHA acid that it contains and probably some other ingredients shouldn't be good for younger skin, and I'm only 13. AHA&BHA
Hey! I already use BHA blackhead power liquid three times a week. So I use it after cleansing and essence, then I wait 15-20min. I'm wondering where in my routine I should use AHA whitehead power liquid and if my skin needs to get used to it, or if it’s similar enough to the BHA variant that my skin won’t get “shocked.” It’s recommended to wait 15-20min on the products for full effect, should I then use AHA right after cleansing, wait 20, essence, BHA and then wait another 20min? Then my routine would take about an hour and I don’t have that much time in the evenings. What do you recommend I do? I’m a teenager if that’s relevant and I don’t have particularly sensitive skin. Instead, use them on different days – for example, BHA three evenings a week and AHA one or two other evenings. AHA 7 Whitehead Power Liquid should be used after cleansing (and possibly essence), then you can wait 10–20 minutes before continuing with moisturizing. Your skin may need to adjust to AHA, so start cautiously – 1 time a week is enough to begin with, even if you already tolerate BHA well. Absolutely incredible. I usually expect it to be "stronger" stuff for white-/blackheads. You know, from smell and sharp on the skin. So I was skeptical. This felt so mild, absorbs quickly into the skin. But oh so effective! This works for both whiteheads and blackheads. The blackheads are basically gone after two weeks and the pores significantly smaller. Downside: It absorbs so quickly into the skin that you need to double or sometimes triple the number of "pumps" it says in the instructions. So it’s not that economical.
