Dr. Bronner’s was founded in 1948 by Emanuel Bronner, a third-generation soapmaker from a German-Jewish family. He used the labels on his organic soaps to spread his message that we must all be united across religious and ethnic boundaries: "We are All-One or None!". Even today we work by Dr. Bronner's vision by manufacturing products of the highest quality that are socially and environmentally sustainable and allocating profits to help create a better world.
