This is a mattifying gel primer that helps control shine and oil while "gripping" the base for better wear throughout the day. Elf matte grip primer
This primer has been in my use for a while now, and I have to say that I haven't come across anything better. It keeps the makeup perfectly in place for hours due to its sticky consistency. Do not recommend
This primer has done nothing but ruin my makeup. I get such large spots on my face that absolutely do NOT take any makeup on. Often on the cheekbones and on the top of the forehead. No matter what I use, whether it's a brush, sponge, or fingers, nothing of the foundation will set, not concealer, powder, blush, or bronzer, 😭 many bad makeup looks before I realized what was ruining my makeup, and tried many different foundations and concealers. Might work for some, but it just resulted in spots and patchy makeup for me with spots without makeup from the very first moment.1194 views- The user's roll: Former employee. Separates makeup
I absolutely think it is matte, like all other products EVER, it is of course more glowy when you apply it, but it becomes matte when it has dried. It felt nice on the skin, similar to the original. It didn't separate when I put on foundation, but the second I tried to blend out my concealer, the makeup lifted and became patchy and separated, which otherwise NEVER happens to me.1882 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko.
