Awesome cult product โจ
I've been wanting to try this talked-about cult product for a long time, but I haven't gotten around to it. Until I received it as a Christmas gift this past Christmas. Since then, I've almost used up my tube, and now I can also join the praise choir! It's absolutely fantastic, especially for a dry skin person like me. Even though the cream feels greasy, it still sinks in quickly to the skin. I've mostly used it before my foundation, even though I've already done my usual skincare routine. This has made my foundation sit better, and all the dry areas are not as prominent at all. Besides being dry, my skin is also sensitive, but it hasn't reacted at all to the cream. Not even though it's a bit perfumed. Great cream under makeup
This is my absolute favorite under makeup and a product Iโve been coming back to regularly for yearsโค๏ธโค๏ธ What I love most is how it prepares the skin for makeup. The skin immediately becomes soft, smooth, and well hydrated, which makes foundation apply much easier and look much more natural. The makeup doesnโt emphasize dry patches, nothing flakes, and the whole look stays fresh for many hours. Itโs also one of those creams that can save my skin when itโs dry or irritated. I often apply a thicker layer and use it as a face mask. After about fifteen minutes, the skin is noticeably calmer, softer, and pleasantly nourished. This is my tried-and-true method before bigger outings or when I feel my skin needs extra hydration. The consistency seems runny and light at first glance, but in reality, itโs rich and dense. It works well both for everyday use and when my skin needs something more than a regular cream. Although it might be too heavy for very oily skin. I have dry, mature, and sensitive skin, and this cream just absorbs like a dream. For me, La Roche-Posay Toleriane is too light and makes the skin feel tight. AWESOME AS A PRIMER
Tips!! Apply a thick layer as a primer before makeup. Preferably so much that the face is still a bit white, and let it absorb into the skin. When everything has been absorbed by the skin, the makeup is then 10/10. Works great as a face mask and regular day cream as well. The scent is not too strong but still just right and pleasant. Superb product!! It's hard to find a product that moisturizes and doesn't feel like a mask on the face. But this cream deeply moisturizes the skin and feels smooth on the skin. I've also started using it as a primer and wow, it delivers. Makeup looks so much nicer and more even. Strongly perfumed
Got a sample of this with a beauty shipment, so I tested it on my face today. Surprised by how perfumed this was, I had the impression that the series was fragrance-free, a bit pharmacy-like. The cream is a bit thick and greasy in texture and the skin felt sticky after application. Clogged Pores
I wanted to love it, but unfortunately it felt way too oily/fatty and completely clogged my pores! A big disappointment.. And I usually can use richer creams without getting clogged pores so easily. I got blackheads all over my face and several pimples that popped up after a few days of use, sadly. I also tried using it under makeup, and the makeup did not sit nicely at all, it became patchy and oily, and my base applied unevenly and emphasized the texture more than evening it out, no primer effect at all. I also tried using it as a night cream, which gives okay moisture, but unfortunately nothing I will continue to use. The scent is not pleasant at all - a rather strong scent that, in my opinion, resembles Idomin ointment a lot. No, I do not understand the hype around this, there are so many better creams.
