This is my favourite summer foundation since it’s so lightweight but gives high coverage. It barely transfers either. When I use this I don’t even need a concealer

Ohhh, I was so looking forward to trying this! And it was good, but it doesn't quite make it all the way.. I used the shade 2N1, which matched my skin tone well, and I haven't experienced it oxidizing throughout the day. I have a bit of rosacea and didn't find that it negatively affected my skin condition, however, I added a little extra on the areas where I am most red. It's thin and light, but I still feel like it looks a bit heavy, especially if you want to powder a little on oily areas (I didn't powder in the pictures). The durability is really good though, it couldn't be washed off with micellar water 😅 it would be interesting to do a sweat test.. I would prefer to use this for nights out, for example, but for my taste, it's too heavy for everyday use. I would say it has a satin finish. It settles a bit unattractively around my nose, I think, and I feel like you need to be well-moisturized before applying the product, so that wrinkles aren't emphasized more. I don't like that a pump isn't included, it's incredibly cumbersome and messy without it, and when the product already has a high price, it feels annoying to have to buy a pump.. nah, please bring the pumps back, dear Esteé Lauder 🙏🥺 So, is it worth the price then? The Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Concealer has a creamy texture that is easy to build from medium to full coverage without feeling cakey. It is very pigmented and does not settle into fine lines in the same way that many other concealers I have tried do. The creamy formula makes it blend nicely under the eyes without drying out the skin. I would personally have chosen a slightly darker shade to better match my skin tone, as the one I tested was a bit too light for my taste. However, if you have a darker concealer, it mixes really well. Aside from the color choice, I am very satisfied with both the formula and the result. It is supposed to last up to 24 hours, and my skin felt hydrated while providing a matte and long-lasting result without drying out the skin.
