Covering, long-lasting, and reliable
When you need some serious lasting glam, grab this. It's not a cult favorite for nothing! I personally prefer lighter foundations these days since my skin is drier than before. But this one didn't feel too thick, and the finish was still pleasant. In the pictures, the final makeup, which also includes powders, blushes, etc. It stayed well all day! Natural Result
I have tried Estée Lauder's Double Wear Stay-In-Place Makeup SPF10 in the shade 2N1 Desert Beige🌵 I have quite neutral undertones and have combination skin with tendencies to acne and fine lines. Normally, I prefer a foundation that sits naturally and lightly on the skin, so that the skin becomes more even without visible signs that I am wearing makeup🙌🏼 First of all, I want to mention that I was very unsure about the color I should choose, and I realize that I have chosen a shade that is too dark🥺 Therefore, I will not let this affect my assessment of the product. The products come in a stylish and exclusive packaging, and that also applies to the container of the product. Unfortunately, I find it somewhat difficult to portion the amount of product, as I prefer to blend the product out on my hand with a brush. Hopefully, this is a matter of getting used to, and the patent means that less product disappears as with, for example, pumps or applicator brushes🙌🏼 Otherwise, the product was easy to blend on the face and gave a quite natural result, aside from the fact that the color was a bit too dark. The product provides a more even skin tone, without it being very visible that you are wearing makeup🫧 Unfortunately, it can feel a bit dry in consistency and partially emphasize fine lines and skin issues. I haven't had the product on for a long time, so I unfortunately don't know how the product performs throughout the day. Overall, it is a pretty good product that meets the requirements I have for a good foundation🤎 However, I will not give the product a top score, as it does seem a bit dry. Please say that you won't stop making this «old» one? I tried the new one that has come out, but it was nowhere near as good as this. This foundation is perfect for my oily skin! It provides great, long-lasting coverage that keeps the makeup in place all day without feeling heavy or cakey on the skin. 2N1 Desert Beige matches my skin tone exactly, and the finish looks natural and fresh while also mattifying where needed. Full coverage
I've been a regular user of this product since 2013, and for good reason. A thick consistency that provides medium to full coverage, easily buildable. Over the years, I've noticed it gets heavier on the skin, something I solve with a good skincare routine, as well as setting spray BEFORE and after makeup. Comes without a pump, which can feel a bit overwhelming at first. Pretty gold cap, with a rubber coating under the cap to ensure it doesn't leak. The product must be poured with the desired application. (Yes, poured out...) The bottle is glass, which feels luxurious, but also terribly impractical. With the help of a mini makeup spatula, you'll get all the product out. The product is marked with C, N, or W to make it easier to find the right undertone. (cold, neutral, warm). 4/5, as the bottle is glass, without a pump, and in the mid-range for price. An absolutely safe purchase if you want full coverage! #lykoreview1218 views
