    Didn’t work for me!

    I got the Gliss Night Elixir Overnight from Reviewclub. The product comes in a glass bottle with a pump that dispenses the right amount of product. The serum is creamy and water-based but not oily, which is a plus. The product absorbs very easily into the hair. I didn’t like the scent of the product; it has a very sharp smell. The product makes no visible change to my hair. My hair got a greasy texture when I used it continuously every day. I will not buy this product again due to the scent and that it didn’t suit my hair type.

    Easy to use

    Silky Smooth

My first impression is that the appearance of the bottle feels luxurious, it is heavy and made of glass with a nice dark blue color. This product is for extremely damaged hair. When you first get it in your hands, it feels like you have pure silk in your hands, and the scent - yum!! It smells wonderful! It has a nice scent that feels fresh, and it really makes my hair soft and shiny. Even though it is meant to be used overnight, I also use it during the day – especially when my hair feels a bit dry or needs extra shine. It is light in consistency, so the hair doesn't get greasy or heavy, which I really appreciate. I usually just take a few drops in the lengths. The best part is that it doesn't get sticky or leave any weird film, which makes it perfect to have in the hair without worrying about it feeling stiff.     Gliss Night Elixir Overnight Repairs the pump works well and provides a good dosage. Additionally, the serum has a good consistency that makes the dosing and application correct and smooth. The glass bottle gives a luxurious feel and reminds me of the Kerastase 8H overnight serum, which is the product I have used so far. Of course, Gliss Night Elixir Overnight Repair is a budget variant, but... an effective budget variant, I think. Works well, but doesn't give an exaggerated effect. In other words, I miss a Wow feeling. I wish my hair had more shine. Totally ok, but it should be improved. My hair usually needs extra love in the winter because it gets dry, quite dull, and lacks shine. Additionally, I lose an incredible amount of hair, and therefore I am cautious about which products I use. If a product makes my hair get greasy quickly so that I need to wash often, then it is immediately off my list. Gliss Night Elixir absorbs quickly into the hair and the next day does not leave a greasy feeling. What is quite clear is the softness it gives to the hair. Big plus for that. I have read quite a bit in other reviews regarding the scent. Personally, I think it is not as bad as others say, but I miss that feeling of luxury when smelling the serum. After application, the scent diminishes, and the next day there is only a little left. It smells a bit like chemicals, if you understand what I mean. In summary, not the best overnight serum I have tried, but not bad either, so totally ok for a budget variant, but with a lot of potential for improvement.

    This product can be used on either dry or damp hair, and I found that the serum had a better effect when the hair was towel-dried. My hair is curly and dry by nature and also relatively newly dyed. This is not something I want to use daily, but a couple of times a week is sufficient. The scent was nice but a bit strong, and the product is economical.

    Smooth product

    I have tried this product for just over a week now and think it is nice and pleasant to use before I go to bed. I have quite short and thin hair, so I use a couple of clicks which is enough. It massages in easily and smells good in my opinion. However, my daughter has pointed out when I read a book next to her before bedtime that it smells strong. The hair is less dry when you wake up and feels more lively without being greasy and heavy. So I would recommend this product just to bring out shine and a feeling of happier hair.
