Loreal Paris Elvital Growth Booster Hair Serum
After pregnancy and continued breastfeeding, I experienced that the hair on one side was worse than usual, and I decided to click this home after many good reviews in August. I've used this serum on that spot every day since it arrived in my mailbox, and it has impressed me, it has actually started to grow hair there in a way I've never experienced before! The quality of the pictures isn't the best, but I can definitely see and feel a good difference! Convenient serum but strong scent and uncertain results
The serum was easy to apply directly to the scalp, although I found it a bit difficult to know how much product was actually needed. One thing that stood out to me was the scent – it is quite strong, which didn't really appeal to me. However, the positive aspect was that my hair didn't become greasy from the serum, which I often worry about with products that are meant to be massaged into the scalp. It absorbed quickly and felt light, without leaving any residue. When it comes to the results, it's difficult to say. I haven't noticed any significant difference in either hair growth or hair quality so far, but I believe it could be a product that requires long-term use before seeing effects. Overall, the serum feels okay – it's easy to use and doesn't weigh the hair down, but the strong scent and lack of noticeable results make me a bit hesitant about whether I will continue to use it. Less hair in the shower
The serum is easy to apply directly to the scalp, and I usually massage it in at night. It feels a bit sticky right when you put it on, but it sinks in pretty quickly and hasn't bothered me much. The scent is typically L’Oréal fresh but quite noticeable, nothing that lingers for long. After a few weeks, I mainly notice that my hair feels stronger and that I'm losing less hair in the shower and while brushing. I haven't experienced any “wow hair growth overnight,” but my scalp feels healthier and my hair looks more alive. I have used the serum and am really very pleased with the results. The product feels very gentle and easy to use, and already after a period of use, I noticed that my hair felt stronger and healthier. I also experience that hair loss has decreased. Actually noticed a bigger difference than I thought. Whether my hair is growing, I don't know if I like, BUT I have noticed a clear difference in my hair's thickness, which has otherwise just been quite thin. I don't know if I will buy again, but only because I don't know how much one should use such a product. Dupe?
I've been using Kérastase Genesis serum for a long time, and this one from Elivital is often referred to as a dupe. After testing it myself, I can say that I don't notice much of a difference.. the consistency is a bit stickier in the hair compared to Genesis. It's not a crisis, but you notice it especially if you use a bit too much or have fine hair. I often have very dry scalp, flaky and itchy. Sometimes even inflamed and a bit moist due to scratching. I have tried countless different products for scalp care without lying. But THIS has definitely been the best of all pharmacy products or high-end products! I wash my hair 3 times a week, using it only after washing. The scalp issues disappeared after the first use.
