Really wanted to like this!! The idea is great, but the execution unfortunately fell a bit short for me. The mask was tricky to mix, there was a lot of product waste, and instead of a satisfying peel-off, I had to pick off small pieces. It gave an okay skin feeling, but the wow effect was missing. Mild exfoliation that gives glow
I had quite high expectations for Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, precisely because it’s supposed to be so mild that it can be used daily. But considering my sensitive skin, I’ve chosen to use it 2-3 times a week instead, which has worked very well for me. The product comes out as a fine powder that you mix with water in your hands, and voilà, you have a mild exfoliation that feels both gentle and effective. The skin feels immediately smooth, clean, and fresh after use, without becoming tight or irritated. I find that it gives a nice glow and a really deep-cleaned feeling without compromising the skin barrier. Additionally, it’s very easy and quick to use in the routine. Nice result but requires caution
I got to try this serum and thought a vitamin C serum would fit into my skincare routine even though my skin is quite sensitive. I'm always on the lookout for a nice glow that doesn't feel too much with my oily skin. Unfortunately, my skin reacted when I initially used it every other day. I got slightly irritated and my skin felt more sensitive than usual. When I instead backed off and started using the serum 2-3 times a week, it worked much better. Despite the reaction, I am actually happy with the serum today. It gives a nice glow and the skin feels smoother, but for me it only works in very small amounts (max 2 drops) and not too often. So it’s an active serum that my skin needs to take in small doses, but when I use it right, I really like the result and will continue to use it!! Clean skin without tight feeling
I have combination skin that can easily become both sensitive and a bit oily in the T-zone. I have now used it for about 3 weeks, mostly in the evenings but also some mornings, and this gel foams lightly and feels very fresh without the skin feeling tight or dry afterward. It cleans thoroughly from makeup and SPF while the skin still feels soft and balanced. On days when I have makeup on, I do the cleansing twice, and it’s easy to remove waterproof mascara, which I appreciate. I also appreciate that it is really mild for daily use and does not disturb the skin’s natural moisture balance, something many cleansers otherwise can do. After washing, the skin feels clean, clear, and calm. It really works if you want a safe and stable base in your skincare routine. Minus: the price. It is definitely an expensive cleanser, which makes me hesitate a bit to buy it again right away when it runs out — even though the bottle lasts a long time. This is because I have previously invested in budget variants for cleansers, so I can’t quite justify buying a more expensive one when they have worked just as well. Summary: An effective but gentle cleanser that I think is perfect for normal to combination skin and for you who want a reliable cleanser without drama. Power in a bottle 💜
I’ve been lucky enough to try this perfume, and right when I opened the box, my first impression was – wow, what a bottle, the purple color really signals luxury. Really elegant, I would say!! The scent opens with a very intense and clear note of plum, which at first felt a bit heavy and strong for me, as it only took one spray. But if you give it a little time, it settles beautifully and the vanilla sneaks in and softens everything. I think it feels like a very warm and deep, sensual scent that lasts a very long time. I would say it feels like a perfume for confident women. It gives a lot of “power” in its scent and, in my opinion, works as an evening perfume when you want to feel a little extra. Not something I would use every day, as I prefer lighter perfumes then. But overall, a fantastic bottle with a mysterious and at the same time fruity scent, I really like it and will definitely use it on special occasions. I don’t know if I can wear Valentino perfumes. The scents I’ve tried in store have given me migraines.... It started after pregnancies. I became sensitive to certain scents 😭 My absolute favorite is Black Opium. Yves Saint Laurent. My skin is a bit chaotic right now, so I keep it very simple. Just got my favorite cleanser from Cerave home again, which I've been without for a while but missed, so now that it was time for a new one, it got to come back and is here to stay. Toner from klairs that is hydrating and brightening, with ingredients of both Vitamin C and niacinamide that the chat thought I should bring out since I want a natural glow. Very "smart" with its powerful ingredients! Serum from hyggee that is a standing favorite, very versatile and protects the skin well, while also working to brighten. I love the consistency of this serum, so incredibly light. Cream from klairs, good hydrating. I only use a tiny bit on my oily skin.
