Good number 2 for Rising star
Gives volume, texture, and movement. The hair doesn't get stiff, so you can "mess" up the hairstyle throughout the day. If you don't wash your hair every day, that's not a problem either. Best suited for short hairstyles or when you have a layered cut. It also has a good scent. I take away one star because the pump function is very hard. 🌸✨ A texture spray I’ve really gotten hooked on!
I’ve truly been impressed by Amika Un.Done Volume & Texture Spray! This is the kind of product I reach for when my hair feels a bit too flat and I want to bring out volume, texture, and that slightly tousled, cool feeling without having to redo the entire hairstyle. 🤍 I usually spray it on dry hair, especially at the roots and then a little through the lengths. What I notice immediately is that the hair gets much more grip. Suddenly it feels much easier to shape and tousle the hair exactly how I want. ✨ What I like the most is that the volume actually feels airy and flexible. I hate when a texture spray makes hair stiff and rigid again as soon as you touch it, but this one still lets me run my fingers through my hair and change the hairstyle throughout the day. 😂 I also think it gives a really nice matte beachy feel. The hair looks a bit fuller and more relaxed, almost like when you’ve nailed the perfect hairstyle without it looking like you tried way too hard. 🥹🌸 Another thing I appreciate is that the rice starch helps absorb some oil and dirt. I therefore find it extra lovely when the hair starts to feel a bit flat between washes – it gives both texture and makes the hair feel fresher. And the scent! 😍 I really think Amika’s products usually smell so good and this one is no exception. The hair gets a nice floral scent that I think feels very typically Amika. I also like that it doesn’t weigh the hair down even though it gives quite a bit of texture. Lyko describes it as a finishing spray with a matte finish and long-lasting volume/texture, including rice starch and zeolite. The only small downside is actually the nozzle. I find it can feel a bit stiff and you have to press quite firmly to get the spray out. It’s really not a dealbreaker for me, but it could be smoother. 😅 But the actual result? Really good. When I want more volume, grip, and that effortless, slightly tousled feeling, this is one of the products I gladly use.
