Modeling mask looks like a powder because of the alginate, which is the active component of the mask. The basis of alginate masks are two basic elements - algin and diatomaceous earth (it consists of the remains of various algae, improves the skin condition). When mixed with water, these two powdered compounds form hydrocolloid gel, which become a depot for active ingredients, allowing their slow migration into skin.
Alginate face mask moisturizes the skin, has a lifting effect (for a long time), relieves muscle tension and smooths wrinkles. An important advantage of the mask is the fact that it fits all types of skin, even sensitive.
Modeling mask with charcoal narrows the pores, reduces oily shine, dries down inflammation (and prevents the appearance of new ones), and also evens out skin tone and has cooling effect.
