    Always come back to this!

I've tried a few different foundations, but in the end, I always come back to IT cosmetics CC creams. I'm lucky to also match nicely with the shade "Fair"! The positives: ✅ Covers redness in the face and evens out the skin tone nicely ✅ Can be built up; also looks very nice applied sparingly ✅ Melts in throughout the day in a flattering way and stays on the face until the end of the day (even on days I've exerted myself/sweated a lot) ✅ Very economical! A tube lasts a long time for me ✅ Pleasant scent The negatives: ❌ perfumed (even though, as mentioned, pleasant scent in my opinion) ❌ quite a worthless scale of shades, if you get more tanned during the summer months, it's hard to switch shades as there is a big difference between the shades available and there are incredibly few. The price may also seem off-putting to some, but in my opinion, it's worth the slightly higher price tag. ☺️ So for me, it's a total hit!

    Did not work for me

I had heard so much good about this product for people with sensitive, dry, and rosacea skin, so I thought it was worth a try. I have sensitive, dry, acne-prone, and rosacea skin, but unfortunately, this foundation was a miss for me. The formula is nice, is full coverage, and applied very nicely on the skin (picture 1). After application, a strong peach scent was detected that gets stronger the longer the day goes on. When outdoors, it smells more metallic. On the days I wore the foundation, my skin had a strong reaction with increased warmth, acne breakouts, itching, and more redness than usual. I likely reacted to something in the product. In summary ✅ Full coverage ✅ Covers redness well ❌ Contains fragrance (peach scent) and gets more metallic the longer the day goes on ❌ Got breakouts, increased warmth, and more issues with my rosacea ❌ The formula started to crease throughout the day #lykorewiew

Yes, it's incomprehensible to have perfume in a product for sensitive rosacea skin

    🌸

Is the color 01 Fair Porcelain lighter than L'Oréal's tinted serum foundation in the shade 0.5-2 Very Light? I love L'Oréal's serum foundation but unfortunately it's too dark for me. Or do you have any other recommendations?

The favorite I always go back to

I always buy it again and it never disappoints. It covers both acne and acne scars really well, without getting cakey.

    Help!

I love the CC cream from It Cosmetics, and have long used the colors light and medium. Meeen now neither of those colors is right for my skin tone anymore? 😩Which shade from It Cosmetics is most similar to the Nars concealer in the color custard?

Hi Cecilie 👋 It's not quite easy to assess shades just over a screen, but when I look, it seems like the shade Light Medium is the one that most closely resembles Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Custard 👇 lyko.com/no/it-cosmetics/it-cosmetics-cc--cream-spf50-light-medium Light Medium is a bit more neutral and less yellow in undertone compared to Custard and IT Cosmetics CC-Cream Medium that you have used before 💛 If you have a warm undertone, it actually looks like a mix of the shades Light and Medium is closest to Nars Custard 🥰 Hope this helps you find your perfect shade! 💖

Hello!🤍 ➡️ Light Medium is the one that is closest to Medium in color and coverage. ➡️ Light is a bit lighter than Medium, and can become too pale if you are happy with Medium as it is now. Take care! 🫧

    Oily/mixed skin

Does this work for oily skin with a tendency to acne, or do you have another recommendation?🌸

Hey Johanna! This CC cream is absolutely suitable for oily/greasy skin with a tendency to acne. It evens out the skin tone and also contains niacinamide, which can help reduce pores and redness. Since the product is moisturizing, it can feel a bit shiny on really oily skin, but you can advantageously use a matte primer before application to control the shine. There is also a special matte variant that is tailored for oily skin, so it might be worth checking that out too 👇 lyko.com/sv/it-cosmetics/it-cosmetics-cc--natural-matte-32ml-fair-porcelain Take care!

    Not so impressed

Got this as a Christmas gift and was so excited to try it, I love that it’s thin and barely feels like anything but also very covering since I have a lot of acne scars. But it settles incredibly ugly throughout the day and I’ve never experienced a product settling like this, I’ve tried several different primers etc. to see if it was just me, but no unfortunately not. I’ve previously used Garnier BB cream which I love and costs 3 times less than this, very disappointing. I think it’s a downside that this smells incredibly strong of perfume. I should also add that I have quite oily skin and not dry which makes me a bit confused because it makes it look like I have dry patches.

Hey Sonja! 😀👋🏻 Thanks for sharing your experience 💬 Oh, what a bummer that it didn't work out 🙈 Great to hear that you liked the coverage and the light feel – but understandable that it feels a bit off when the result doesn't hold up throughout the day, even though you've tried different primers ❣️ Skin and products behave very differently from person to person when it comes to fragrance, and sometimes it just doesn't click – even with products that many others like. Thanks for an honest and detailed review 💕

    Staple

Normal to oily, sensitive skin. 39 years old. Some pigment spots. This is fantastic! A little goes a long way and gives a lot of good glow. It doesn't settle into the lines in a negative way. It covers very well and can be built up. I took some time to figure out how to apply it, so here’s my method: I take a small pea on the back of my hand and massage the product out (warms and blends it), then I apply it with clean fingers on my face, where I want the product. Then I go over it with a beauty blender. I don’t use powder over it. I combine it with cream and liquid products for bronzer and blush. Love this!

    Incredible.

Incredible product that provides varying coverage depending on how much you apply. I don't need any concealer when I use this. 🥰
