I've bought it twice and I am super satisfied! My dry, damaged, and colored hair feels strong and healthy again. But a bit too expensive…

I liked it a lot! It felt like it made a difference. I would have needed to use it for a longer time than the bottle lasted, to really see results. But I think it’s worth the attention it has gotten!

I had high expectations for this heat protectant since it is very expensive and it says that it can be used on both towel-dried and dry hair. But I would definitely not say it works well on dry hair. It makes the hair wet and makes it very difficult to straighten, e.g. it doesn't penetrate the hair and becomes very heavy. I tried to return this but was not able to because it is not a product defect (was partially compensated though) but now I have seen several big influencers (including Sydney Schiffer) say the same thing, that it doesn't work well on dry hair, so I am more convinced that it wasn't just my thin hair that couldn't handle this. I only use it on damp hair before I blow-dry. Before I straighten, I use Amika The shield instead, which doesn't wet the hair and makes the hair strands smooth and manageable when you pull the straighteners through it. I think K18 should change the product description and state that it works best on wet/damp hair. I don't know if it does anything else for the hair, I haven't noticed anything special after three uses. #lykoreview
