The Christmas gift of the year!
Getting K18's Molecular Repair Mask was exactly what my hair had on Santa's wish list this year! My hair really needed a treatment that both strengthens and repairs after the summer's sun rays, frequent use of heat tools, and large amounts of dry shampoo during parental leave 🥰. I have long, thick Scandinavian hair and have colored it for many years. Therefore, my hair can easily become damaged and dry, so a little extra love is absolutely necessary! I used the mask five washes in a row as an intensive treatment for my hair. After that, I started using the product about every third wash. I was a bit skeptical about whether it would really be possible to brush my hair after letting the mask work for just four minutes, but it worked perfectly 😃. I wash my hair two to three times a week, so about once a week with the hair mask – and that’s enough for me 😃. My hair feels soft and of better quality, and my ends feel so much healthier! I really like this repair mask. There’s just one thing I find negative: my hair feels a bit heavier on the second day after use. Magical product
I had the honor of testing this leave-in mask from K18. I've heard a lot of good things about K18 but have never tested it myself, so I'm very grateful to have been able to try these, and I just say wow! This is truly magic in a bottle. I've used this in conjunction with K18 detox shampoo, and it’s really a super combo. The shampoo cleanses the hair of all dirt, then I towel-dry my hair and apply about 4 pumps of this to my hair. I wait for about 5 minutes, and then I can brush my hair out without any problems! I obviously use other products as well when I use this, but my hair has never been so easy to detangle as when I’ve used this! It moisturizes the hair and makes it easy to brush through! I have been able to test two products from #lykoinflutester for a couple of weeks as #K18, super fun since it’s a brand I’m familiar with and really like! I have tested their detox shampoo and Leave in mask 🤩 I have used this product before, and it’s really one of those products I just buy over and over again, so crazy fun to get to write a review about this! This is truly magic in a bottle! 🪄 I, who have dry, bleached, and quite damaged hair, find this a must-have! It repairs the hair, and it feels like freshly cut after just a few uses. It has a light consistency and doesn’t feel heavy in the hair + it’s economical! A little goes a loooong way! Additionally, it has a fresh scent that just gives an overall fresh feeling to the hair! Good, but expensive
I have used this after the K18 Detox Shampoo and then twice with another shampoo. When I used this after the Detox shampoo, I was a bit unsure if it would detangle my hair, if it would condition, etc. But, a couple of pumps and my hair detangled while brushing like it was nothing (which was quite a miracle, since the Detox shampoo had made a few knots in my hair). The static in my hair was gone and my hair didn’t really need any other conditioning products. Now I have used it a couple of times after using another shampoo and I still don’t need any other conditioning products. The biggest difference with this is that the static in my hair is completely absent. Without using the Detox shampoo, one pump is enough, with it 1.5 - 2 pumps. Good product but not revolutionary
I have used this product as a treatment for my hair for about 4 weeks, both individually and together with K18 Detox shampoo, which I use once a week. This is a product that is extremely talked about and hyped, which makes the expectations high! My hair is naturally curly, dry, and frizzy and is in great need of a haircut. I dye my hair brown every 3rd-4th week (though I only regularly dye the roots and the lengths I dye less often). No product can save hair that needs to be cut, but this should still make a significant improvement, which I unfortunately do not really experience! My hair does not break off, but it is just very damaged at the ends and especially dry. PRODUCT: 4/5 According to the description, you should always start with 1 pump, which is enough for my hair if I don’t want to boost it a little extra, then I take two pumps. The product is still economical, but you have to work it into the hair. I always scrunch it into the ends and then scrunch it up into the lengths. The pump is a bit slow, so you have to push a bit to get the product out. That it gets 4/5 is because I actually don’t notice a difference from other leave-in products, like Fenty Beauty the comeback kid or Olaplex no 6. In those, you also get much more product for the money (comparison price). SCENT: 5/5 This smells so incredibly good! I, who don’t know anything about notes and can feel WHAT it smells like, would just say that it smells incredible and luxurious like a salon! Quite a strong scent if you are a bit sensitive. I love the scent! RESULT: 3/5 Just as I wrote above, the result does not stand out at all for me. It really does nothing negative for my hair, but it moisturizes and strengthens, smooths out quite well, prevents tangling, and smells good. But according to the description, the hair should "feel new" and repair the hair on a molecular level, which I do not experience at all. As I said, I do not notice a difference between this and my other good leave-ins. Which for me comes down to a price issue, where this is significantly more expensive in comparison price. Would I buy the product again? No, I prefer Olaplex no 6. Would I recommend it? Absolutely, it has really saved many other people's hair but not mine. Getting the K18 leave in now was exactly what my hair needed! I haven't tried it before, but I've definitely picked up on the hype - and I can say with my hand on my heart that it lives up to the expectations! My hair has become thin and damaged after many years of highlights, and now that I've gone back to my natural hair color, I'm working towards getting stronger hair again. I was skeptical about not using conditioner after use, since this is important for my hair to get enough moisture. I admit that I should have tried #k18 earlier, because it feels like that was what was missing in my hair care routine🧸 I posted a review about the detox shampoo, take a look at that too! K18 is a new brand I haven't tried before, especially because of the price range. I'm glad I got to try it now, because for me it will be a repurchase!😍 I wouldn't exactly say I had dry hair because I take care of my hair year-round and know what I need more or less. #konkurranseinflutester I have been using the K18 mask for about 5 months now, and I am really impressed with the results. My hair was quite damaged, and even though the biggest improvement came after consistent use, I actually saw a difference already after the first use. It felt stronger, healthier, and less porous right away. One of the things I like best is that the hair doesn't get heavy from the product. The mask repairs without laying on like a film, and because it prevents further damage, my hair has actually grown much faster than usual. It breaks less, and you can really tell! Personally, I like to apply the mask and let it sit for about 5 minutes. After that, I always follow up with conditioner. The reason is that I have very tangled hair, and even though K18 repairs the hair really well, it doesn't necessarily smooth down frizz or provide the same softness that a conditioner does. Without conditioner, my hair gets a bit frizzy, but with conditioner, I get optimal results, both in repair, softness, and smoothness. I really recommend K18 if you have damaged or distressed hair. It makes a noticeable difference, especially with consistent use. Just be prepared that you might need conditioner afterward, especially if you, like me, have hair that easily tangles or gets a bit frizzy.329 views
