    Perfect for Scandinavian hair – long-lasting, fragrant, and adds shine

    I have tested this leave-in serum for a couple of weeks on my fine, Scandinavian hair — and I am really satisfied. The consistency is wonderfully light, not heavy or oily, but spreads smoothly in towel-dried hair. The product feels really long-lasting — for my hair, a very small amount is enough to notice a difference, which is a big plus. The scent is also appealing; it has a subtle “salon-luxury” feel – not overwhelming, but enough for the hair to smell fresh after washing and styling. After application, I find that my hair becomes softer and feels more manageable — the ends look fresher, and the frizz, which easily appears in my hair, is noticeably subdued. Additionally, my hair looks a bit shinier without feeling sticky or heavy. As for the results: for my hair, the serum has delivered. Even though my hair is quite fine, I notice that the product strengthens the feel of my hair, it doesn’t feel as “fragile” and easy to break — which is exactly what I hoped for. The fact that it also protects against heat styling and helps improve texture makes it feel like an investment worth its price for anyone wanting to give their hair a little extra care. If I were to point out a few minor things: since the product is so long-lasting, it may require a bit of trial and error regarding the exact amount (during my first few times, I used too much, and it felt a bit “clear”).     Honest review of the serum as a test product

    I had the honor of testing the Kérastase Première Sérum Filler Fondamental Hair Serum for free. My first thought was that the container and packaging exude quality. The bottle feels sturdy and looks nice, which is great so you don’t have to hide all your products in a cabinet. The consistency felt lovely, and upon application, my hair felt wonderful, but unfortunately, that’s where my positive feedback ends. The serum was really not for me unfortunately. It has a very strong scent that is quite masculine, which was not at all a favorite of mine. Furthermore, I experienced that the serum had negative effects on my hair. I have thin and fine hair with waves/curls, and even though the serum is supposed to be for all hair types and combat frizz, I just got more frizz and the texture of my hair flattened out, which made my hair look damaged. I didn’t get shine, softness, or reduced frizz, unfortunately. Unfortunately, I think a serum in this price range should hold a higher standard, therefore I was extremely disappointed with the result, even though I tested the serum several times with different amounts of product each time. Now I just hope that my waves/curls return if I stop using the serum 💔 I am participating in a test panel and received a free test product.

    Removes frizz and smells lovely

    I am really satisfied with this serum from Kerastase. The serum feels light in the hair but still provides both nice shine and moisture. After a few uses, I noticed that my hair became both softer and more manageable, without being weighed down. It effectively tames frizz and gives a nice, healthy shine that lasts all day. The scent is also luxurious and makes the hair care routine a little extra lovely. For me, the serum has made a big difference, especially for my dry and frizzy hair. Highly recommended for anyone looking to give their hair a nice luster and moisture! A really great product that I will buy when the current bottle runs out.     Did not work for my hair type!

    I had the opportunity to test the Kérastase Première Sérum Filler Fondamental, and unfortunately, the product did not live up to my expectations. Even though it is marketed as a smoothing and moisturizing serum, I did not experience any noticeable improvement in frizz or texture. I normally have thick hair with a lot of volume, and I hoped the serum would provide a more controlled, soft, and manageable feel. Instead, my hair became both sticky and dry, and the frizz remained unchanged. The product also did not provide any lightness or shine, which made my hair feel heavy yet still coarse at the same time. In summary, the Kérastase Première Sérum Filler Fondamental unfortunately did not work for my hair type. It provided neither the smooth finish nor the moisture I expected, and therefore I would not purchase the product myself. I am participating in a test panel and received a free test product.

    Very good product!

    I have been testing this serum for a few weeks now and it is really so good! I have Scandinavian hair but it is also quite thick and hard to style. This is a product that is economical, and therefore lasts a long time, which makes me think the product is reasonably priced, but as many others write, you have to experiment with the amount of product. My hair becomes irresistibly soft, smells incredibly good, and has received a lot of praise at my work, where I work with scent-sensitive people, that my hair smells good but not too much. At first, I thought the serum didn't smell that good upon application, but after styling, it smells wonderful! I find it very convenient that the serum also protects against heat up to 230 degrees. The only thing - I would give this serum is that I have to blow-dry my hair when I use the serum because my hair easily feels greasy if I just air-dry it.     Kérastase Premiére Serum Filler Fondamental Hair Serum 90 ml

    I have unruly hair, curly, frizzy, and living its own life. Over the years, I have tried to invest time and money to get my hair to look "as nice as everyone else's." Alternating between going to the hairdresser and trying different products at home. Last fall, I finally met the right hairdresser who understood me and my hair, and I was overjoyed. But everyone knows that no matter how hard you try, you can't get your hair to look the same at home. Until now - this product works wonders for my hair. The frizz settles down, the homemade blowout holds, and my hair is softer than before. The consistency feels luxurious and light, and you need very little product to see a difference. I also feel like I notice a difference in how easily my hair breaks. As someone who is quite sensitive to scents, I was very happy that the sharp citrus scent settles nicely after application. My hair, which used to get a ponytail mark after being up for 30 seconds, no longer does that. I don't know what kind of magic is in this bottle, but I am converted.     Effective product with multiple functions in one!

    I’ve had the chance to test this serum for a few weeks now. I have a lot of hair but thin strands that are naturally curly. What I got hooked on in the product is the lovely creamy consistency and the feeling it leaves in the hair when you distribute it. One thing I noticed after the first time is that you have to be careful with the amount, the product is very concentrated, if you use too much, the hair can feel heavy afterwards. The packaging feels heavy and luxurious, it has a pleasant scent that can, however, be perceived as a bit masculine; if I had to choose, I would have preferred a slightly fresher feminine scent. After I blow-dried my hair, it feels soft, a little less frizzy (I would have liked more effect on this front) and is easy to style with a round brush and blow dryer. Unfortunately, the shape fell as soon as I went out into a bit of humid weather, which was a shame. My overall impression is that it’s a good serum but lacked a WOW effect. Considering the price, I expected more long-lasting effect. The masculine scent also brings down the score, however, it stays in the hair for a long time, which is positive.     Incredibly good product, highly recommend!

    I have bleached my hair and have very fine Scandinavian hair, so I have hair that easily gets damaged, frizzy, and dry. (You can see before and after pictures when I used the serum). This product has really helped my hair from the first use, and I find my hair much easier to brush and feel that my hair gets more texture and feels thicker. My frizzy hair becomes smooth, and you can clearly see that it reduces the appearance of split ends! 😁 I often find that products lay like a film on the hair and that the hair feels heavy, but this product melts in nicely and creates just a lovely texture instead of a sticky feeling, something I really appreciate! The scent feels luxurious to me, like you just came from the hair salon. If the hair gets humid again due to rain or similar, the hair smells absolutely lovely again even though it’s been two days since you applied the product. The price may seem a bit high, but I really think it’s worth it, the product feels economical and like it will last a long time. In my pictures, you can see a before picture without the product and a picture where I have only used the product and blow-dried it, so I haven’t styled it yet. I have used the product together with Kerastase Elixir Ultime L’Huile Originale Hair Oil and loved that combination 🥳 I am participating in a test panel and received a free test product.

    Not worth the hype

    I want to like this product so much but honestly, I don't feel like it does anything for my hair. It feels and looks the same whether I use the serum or not. The scent is nice, it doesn't smell too strong but it smells good. The packaging is a bit heavier and feels more expensive, which I appreciate. Based on my own experiences, I wouldn't say the product is particularly good value as it doesn't meet all the criteria it promises. My hair is just as frizzy with or without. Maybe it gives a little shine, my hair is flat in the picture. As for whether it repairs the hair from the inside, I can't comment since I haven't had it for that long. It gets 3/5 stars from me.     I have been testing Kérastase Première Sérum Filler Fondamental for a while now and I am truly impressed! My hair feels instantly stronger, especially in my bleached highlights that were previously dry and fragile. The serum makes my hair soft, shiny, and easy to detangle without weighing it down, and it works just as well for styling as when I let my hair air dry. Perfect for our cold, dry climate where hair easily becomes frizzy and brittle. ✅ Plus My hair feels strengthened and healthier, especially in the bleached areas. Makes hair soft, shiny, and manageable without becoming heavy. Heat protection up to 230 °C, perfect before blow-drying or flat-ironing. Contains citric acid and glycine that help rebuild damaged hair. Reduces frizz and provides a smooth, well-nourished result even without styling. ❌ Minus If you have fine European hair – start with a small amount! If you use too much, it can feel a bit heavy. The scent is quite strong, so not optimal if you are scent-sensitive. The price is on the higher end, so I recommend buying it on sale. A truly luxurious and effective product that gives salon feel at home. My hair feels stronger, healthier, and shinier after a short time.     The hair becomes very manageable!

    I thought this product would help make my hair less frizzy. And it does!! After just one use, you can really feel and see the difference! The hair becomes manageable, and frizz is absolutely not a problem! My hair is actually in need of a trim right now, but I tried this first, and I must say the ends feel much fresher! The reason it gets 4/5 ⭐ is that if you, like me, naturally have very straight hair, it becomes very difficult to put up or style, as it becomes very manageable and shiny, like hair ties just fall out 😅 In the picture, I have used the product 1 time after washing my hair. For my hair, 1-2 pumps have been sufficient, which means it lasts a long time! 🥰 I am participating in a test panel and received a free test product.

    Love-Hate

    I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with this product. The packaging feels very luxurious and the serum really smells soooo good. I've tested it a couple of times and it makes my hair feel soft, smooth, and shiny. But it has also made my hair greasy, the same feeling as when you don't rinse out all the conditioner. Then my hair gets greasy quickly, which probably affects a lot. But I think the positives outweigh the negatives and that it's really worth trying!!
