    Perfect for Scandinavian hair – long-lasting, fragrant, and adds shine

    I have tested this leave-in serum for a couple of weeks on my fine, Scandinavian hair — and I am really satisfied. The consistency is wonderfully light, not heavy or oily, but spreads smoothly in towel-dried hair. The product feels really long-lasting — for my hair, a very small amount is enough to notice a difference, which is a big plus. The scent is also appealing; it has a subtle “salon-luxury” feel – not overwhelming, but enough for the hair to smell fresh after washing and styling. After application, I find that my hair becomes softer and feels more manageable — the ends look fresher, and the frizz, which easily appears in my hair, is noticeably subdued. Additionally, my hair looks a bit shinier without feeling sticky or heavy. As for the results: for my hair, the serum has delivered. Even though my hair is quite fine, I notice that the product strengthens the feel of my hair, it doesn’t feel as “fragile” and easy to break — which is exactly what I hoped for. The fact that it also protects against heat styling and helps improve texture makes it feel like an investment worth its price for anyone wanting to give their hair a little extra care. If I were to point out a few minor things: since the product is so long-lasting, it may require a bit of trial and error regarding the exact amount (during my first few times, I used too much, and it felt a bit “clear”).     Honest review of the serum as a test product

    I had the honor of testing the Kérastase Première Sérum Filler Fondamental Hair Serum for free. My first thought was that the container and packaging exude quality. The bottle feels sturdy and looks nice, which is great so you don’t have to hide all your products in a cabinet. The consistency felt lovely, and upon application, my hair felt wonderful, but unfortunately, that’s where my positive feedback ends. The serum was really not for me unfortunately. It has a very strong scent that is quite masculine, which was not at all a favorite of mine. Furthermore, I experienced that the serum had negative effects on my hair. I have thin and fine hair with waves/curls, and even though the serum is supposed to be for all hair types and combat frizz, I just got more frizz and the texture of my hair flattened out, which made my hair look damaged. I didn’t get shine, softness, or reduced frizz, unfortunately. Unfortunately, I think a serum in this price range should hold a higher standard, therefore I was extremely disappointed with the result, even though I tested the serum several times with different amounts of product each time. Now I just hope that my waves/curls return if I stop using the serum 💔 I am participating in a test panel and received a free test product.

    Very good product!

    Very good product for me. The result is noticeable right away. My fine hair becomes manageable and very soft. The result is the same as with a hair mask, only this takes 10 seconds instead of 10 minutes. Highly recommended 🤍🤍🤍 #lyko #lykotestpilot #kerastase

    Shine and Control

    I don't really know if I think this product is on par with Kerastase's other products, but it is definitely a good product. I, who have very frizzy and wavy hair, think this handled the frizz well. However, you need to keep in mind that it needs to be activated with heat to reach its full potential. It gave a little shine but nothing wow in my opinion. On the other hand, it smells as good as all of their products. In summary, this probably works well for you with more Scandinavian and lightly frizzy hair. If you have even thinner hair, I think it can work even better just on the shine.     Amazing!

    I love it! Fantastic leave-in serum from Kérastase. As a big fan of the Extentioniste and Nutritive series leave-in products, I find that this one is very similar to them, both in texture and finish. I use the serum in combination with my leave-in conditioner and notice that my hair becomes even shinier, fuller, and feels noticeably stronger. The ends stay soft and hydrated without any signs of dryness or split ends. My hair is also very easy to manage when blow-drying and styling. Highly recommended. This serum also has heat protection, which is great since I am very particular about having heat protection in almost everything I apply without washing it out of my hair - the more, the better, I stock up on heat protection so I can be sure that every hair strand is covered with heat protection when I blow-dry/style, which I do every other day. I can add that I have long straight hair (Asian). My hair generally takes longer to dry, I am oily at the roots and use detox shampoo often, so I add some leave-in products and other things to the lengths to compensate.     Had expected more.

    I got the chance to test Kérastase Première Sérum Filler Fondamental, and unfortunately, this product did not live up to my expectations. I have tested it for a couple of weeks, both on dry hair and after I have washed it. It is economical, you don’t need much product at a time, and the consistency is good, easy to work with and disappears nicely into the hair. The smell reminds me of a hospital, very sterile scent. So based on my hair type, which is dry, thin, and frizzy hair, this was not a product for me. But considering the price, I had higher expectations.     Removes frizz and smells lovely

    I am really satisfied with this serum from Kerastase. The serum feels light in the hair but still provides both nice shine and moisture. After a few uses, I noticed that my hair became both softer and more manageable, without being weighed down. It effectively tames frizz and gives a nice, healthy shine that lasts all day. The scent is also luxurious and makes the hair care routine a little extra lovely. For me, the serum has made a big difference, especially for my dry and frizzy hair. Highly recommended for anyone looking to give their hair a nice luster and moisture! A really great product that I will buy when the current bottle runs out.     Did not work for my hair type!

    I had the opportunity to test the Kérastase Première Sérum Filler Fondamental, and unfortunately, the product did not live up to my expectations. Even though it is marketed as a smoothing and moisturizing serum, I did not experience any noticeable improvement in frizz or texture. I normally have thick hair with a lot of volume, and I hoped the serum would provide a more controlled, soft, and manageable feel. Instead, my hair became both sticky and dry, and the frizz remained unchanged. The product also did not provide any lightness or shine, which made my hair feel heavy yet still coarse at the same time. In summary, the Kérastase Première Sérum Filler Fondamental unfortunately did not work for my hair type. It provided neither the smooth finish nor the moisture I expected, and therefore I would not purchase the product myself. I am participating in a test panel and received a free test product.

    Very good product!

    I have been testing this serum for a few weeks now and it is really so good! I have Scandinavian hair but it is also quite thick and hard to style. This is a product that is economical, and therefore lasts a long time, which makes me think the product is reasonably priced, but as many others write, you have to experiment with the amount of product. My hair becomes irresistibly soft, smells incredibly good, and has received a lot of praise at my work, where I work with scent-sensitive people, that my hair smells good but not too much. At first, I thought the serum didn't smell that good upon application, but after styling, it smells wonderful! I find it very convenient that the serum also protects against heat up to 230 degrees. The only thing - I would give this serum is that I have to blow-dry my hair when I use the serum because my hair easily feels greasy if I just air-dry it.     Kérastase Premiére Serum Filler Fondamental Hair Serum 90 ml

    I have unruly hair, curly, frizzy, and living its own life. Over the years, I have tried to invest time and money to get my hair to look "as nice as everyone else's." Alternating between going to the hairdresser and trying different products at home. Last fall, I finally met the right hairdresser who understood me and my hair, and I was overjoyed. But everyone knows that no matter how hard you try, you can't get your hair to look the same at home. Until now - this product works wonders for my hair. The frizz settles down, the homemade blowout holds, and my hair is softer than before. The consistency feels luxurious and light, and you need very little product to see a difference. I also feel like I notice a difference in how easily my hair breaks. As someone who is quite sensitive to scents, I was very happy that the sharp citrus scent settles nicely after application. My hair, which used to get a ponytail mark after being up for 30 seconds, no longer does that. I don't know what kind of magic is in this bottle, but I am converted.     Effective product with multiple functions in one!

    I’ve had the chance to test this serum for a few weeks now. I have a lot of hair but thin strands that are naturally curly. What I got hooked on in the product is the lovely creamy consistency and the feeling it leaves in the hair when you distribute it. One thing I noticed after the first time is that you have to be careful with the amount, the product is very concentrated, if you use too much, the hair can feel heavy afterwards. The packaging feels heavy and luxurious, it has a pleasant scent that can, however, be perceived as a bit masculine; if I had to choose, I would have preferred a slightly fresher feminine scent. After I blow-dried my hair, it feels soft, a little less frizzy (I would have liked more effect on this front) and is easy to style with a round brush and blow dryer. Unfortunately, the shape fell as soon as I went out into a bit of humid weather, which was a shame. My overall impression is that it’s a good serum but lacked a WOW effect. Considering the price, I expected more long-lasting effect. The masculine scent also brings down the score, however, it stays in the hair for a long time, which is positive.
