Difficult to assess the effect after only 4 weeks of use..
I received this exciting hair product for testing as #LYKOINFLUTESTER. This is a strengthening serum from Kérastase that, according to the product description, is supposed to prevent hair loss due to hair breaking. The serum has ingredients that are supposed to make the hair more resilient and minimize hair loss. The serum is supposed to strengthen and care for the naturally protective barrier in the scalp. The serum should be used once daily in the morning or before bedtime. You can apply up to 4 doses to a dry or towel-dried scalp, section by section. 1 dose = 1 pipette to the mark. The serum should be lightly massaged in and not rinsed out. I was super excited to test this serum since after three pregnancies (six years since the last) I have gotten thinning around the hairline on my forehead. Here, the hair grows extremely poorly, and the little that grows gets a maximum of 6 cm long. Exciting to see if this serum could help. I also generally have hair that never gets as long as I want because it breaks and splits easily. I otherwise have medium-length, Nordic, fine hair with slightly bleached ends - otherwise untreated. I’m starting to go gray (I’m 43 years old). These are my thoughts on the product after 3.5 weeks of use: ✅ Lovely container that looks good on the bathroom shelf ✅ Good pipette that makes application easy, doesn’t drip. ✅ The product doesn’t feel sticky on the hands afterwards (even though you should of course wash it off) ✅ The hair doesn’t feel greasy at all when used (I’ve used it in the evening) 🚨 Quite okay scent (but relatively strong). Smells a bit masculine ❌ The bottle is not very economical in use and the price is quite high. I applied 4 doses each time and used up the product in 4 weeks. ❌ No visible results after four weeks. Maybe you need to use it longer to see results (but now the bottle is empty…) I find it difficult to properly assess this product since I feel it should be used over a longer time frame to see any potential results. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #KERASTASE - Most helpful negativeThe post was made 10 monthsRating: 2 out of 5Verifierad testare

As an influencer, I had the honor of testing this product. The packaging: In glass that feels sleek and luxurious with a smart pipette. So pretty with the ombre colors too. The consistency is gel-like and wonderfully cooling. Good consistency as it doesn't run out so easily 👌. It smells so good, both orange/citrus and a bit of woody undertone yum. Very fresh scent. I feel that the scent settles after a while, which I think is good since I have worked in healthcare. Smells mild but not too strong after a few hours. The pipette has a good clear marking for how much to take and is easy to handle 👌. When I apply the serum, I feel fresh. But my hair gets greasy, and I find it stiff/chunky after it dries. I don't like that it gives me such a greasy impression, something I really work to avoid. Even the next day, I find my hair greasier and with a strange slightly stiffer feeling in my hair. Which I don't like. I've been using it for a while now and notice no significant difference in my hair at all. I assume you need to use it longer. But I'm most irritated that my hair feels so greasy after a while within 1 hour of application for me unfortunately. So I think it's a ridiculously expensive product to give me greasier hair and no difference in hair quality, but I assume you need to use it for more than 2 weeks. I'm not that impressed yet, but I get to test it a bit longer to see if it gets better going forward. But I don't like the feeling in my hair after it has been a while. In the beginning, it feels super fresh and good, which then turns into a greasy strange feeling in the hair🙈. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #KERASTASE71906 views - The post was made 10 hoursRating: 2 out of 5
Not for sensitive skin or fine hair.
I have long wanted to try their serum products because I have heard a lot of good things about them, but unfortunately, this one did not work for me due to my sensitive scalp and my thin, fine hair. My first impression when I opened the package was still very positive. The packaging feels luxurious, sleek, and well thought out. The bottle itself is glass and comes with a practical dropper that makes it easy to dose exactly the recommended amount (four drops, see picture). Details like this make the product feel exclusive and well-made. The scent was what surprised me the most. It is very strongly perfumed with a distinct scent of bergamot and green, fresh notes. Personally, I think it smells good, but more like a perfume than something I want on my scalp. I was also a bit surprised that a product marketed as caring contains so much perfume, as it can often irritate the skin and in some cases even contribute to hair loss. I used the serum for about two weeks to give it a fair chance, but unfortunately, my scalp started to itch and feel irritated quite quickly. The consistency was also a bit too thick for my hair, which made it easily feel heavy and greasy at the roots. In summary, I love the design and the idea behind the product, but unfortunately, it does not suit me with sensitive skin and fine hair. However, I believe it could work better for someone with thicker hair and a more resilient scalp. Don't know if it works
I got the chance to test this product for free in exchange for an honest review. I'm not that impressed with this, maybe it was too short of a time? - I personally think it smells a bit too much, almost to the point where I felt nauseous. It smells good for the majority of people, I can imagine, but for me it was just too strong. - As for it making the hair fuller and reducing gaps, I unfortunately don't notice any difference. - Makes hair greasy faster. I used to wash my hair 1-2 times a week before without it looking greasy, but it builds up and looks greasy when using this. + Have only tested this for about 4-5 weeks. So it might be that it hasn't reached full effect yet. + Good and nice pipette, easy to apply. The first picture is before (freshly washed), the second after (2 days old hair). Ok good
I don't see much difference in the growth of my hair, but it helps with oily hair, so that's good. I usually get oily hair the day after I shower, now I can go 3 days without showering, very good :)215 views - The post was made 23 hoursRating: 3 out of 5
Pretty okay
I've been using Kérastase Genesis Sérum Anti-Chute Fortifiant Scalp serum for a while now, and overall I'm pretty satisfied – but there are both pros and cons. ✅ What I like: • The application is easy and pleasant: it's easy to reach the scalp, and it doesn't feel heavy or "sticky" afterward. • Afterward, the hair becomes softer and gets a nice shine – I notice that it looks healthier. • A big plus: It doesn't get dirty or heavy in the hair after use, which I really appreciate. • For me, the product fits relatively well: it does what I expected it to do to some extent. ❌ What could be better: • I haven't experienced any dramatic difference regarding hair loss or deeper structural changes – for me, it's mostly about shine and softness. • It doesn't last super long: it's not very economical, which makes the price feel high compared to how long the bottle lasts. • The scent is too strong for my taste – it makes me not use the product as often as I might like because the scent becomes too much. • And yes – the price. It's very expensive for what you get (even though it's often on sale). If you're looking for a high-quality scalp serum that feels luxurious, makes hair softer, and gives a nice shine – then this is a really good option. But if your primary goal is to really noticeably combat hair loss or see significant changes in hair thickness and structure, then you might need to be patient and use the product consistently for several weeks (e.g., according to the manufacturer's recommendations) to see a difference. I would give it about 3 to 4 out of 5 – for me, it does its job, but the expectations might not live up to the ultimate "wow". Best serum!
I have tested Kérastase Genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant for a few weeks and am very satisfied with the results. The serum has a light, liquid consistency that quickly absorbs into the scalp without leaving a greasy or sticky feeling. It is easy to apply thanks to the dropper, and the scent feels fresh and luxurious. After regular use, I feel that my hair feels stronger and more resilient. I lose less hair when brushing and washing, and my hair looks healthier and shinier. The scalp also feels more balanced and hydrated. I really think the product lives up to its promise. It feels like a salon treatment at home and is perfect for anyone looking to reduce hair loss and strengthen hair from the roots. I will definitely continue to use it going forward and highly recommend it to others! 🌸 I am participating in a test panel and received a free test product.223 views - The post was made 1 dayRating: 4 out of 5
One of the best serums!
I have been testing this Hair Serum from Kérastase every day for four weeks and wow how good it is! It has a light, thin, and liquid consistency which I think is really great, as the hair doesn't get greasy at all and doesn't feel in the hair and absorbs quickly into the hair! I have noticed a big difference in such a short time and have lost much less hair as well as getting more hair at the hairline and the hair reported. The smell might be a bit strong, but it's still something you can get over, I think! Unfortunately, it is also very expensive, and it probably won't last a whole bottle for 6 weeks depending on how much hair you have! But I will definitely buy this again in the future when it runs out! 😍 I am participating in a test panel and have received a free test product.391 views - The post was made 1 dayRating: 5 out of 5
Noticed a big difference in a short time
After pregnancy, I lost so much hair. I was anxious before every hair wash as I could pull out handfuls of hair, but after using this product for a few weeks now, I feel like I'm losing less hair and that my baby hair has started to grow (as shown in the pictures). I can really recommend this serum. The only thing I have to note is the pipette itself - I wish it was a comb that distributes the product more evenly in the scalp. Like.
I use it 2 times a week after washing my hair. It doesn't make my hair fall out as much as before and also helps my hair grow more on my scalp!458 views - The post was made 2 daysRating: 5 out of 5
Light serum with lovely scent
I have been using the serum for about a week now, and even though the results are not yet clear, I have already gotten a very positive first impression. The consistency is light and not sticky, which makes it easy to apply directly to the scalp without making the hair greasy. The serum absorbs quickly and leaves a fresh and luxurious feeling. The scent is one of my favorite parts, it is mild, clean, and very pleasant. Even though I have not yet seen any significant reduction in hair loss, I still feel that my hair feels somewhat stronger and healthier. It feels like the scalp is doing better and that the hair is getting a bit more life. I believe it needs more time to see real results, but so far I am satisfied and feel that the product has the potential to make a difference with continued use. Good!
I have used the product for about 3.5 weeks, and it’s a bit hard to say whether it has made my hair grow in such a short time. However, I can say that I experience losing much less hair when I, for example, wash or style my hair than I did before I started using the product. It also smells really good, which is a plus. I would definitely recommend that you try the product if you are interested, but go in with the mindset that you might not see results super quickly. The downsides are that it is expensive, and not particularly long-lasting. I also find that it makes my hair greasy, even though it says it shouldn’t. I use it in the evenings and still feel that my hair feels oily when I wake up the next morning, so I either need to use dry shampoo or blow-dry my hair so it "dries".
