Difficult to assess the effect after only 4 weeks of use..
I received this exciting hair product for testing as #LYKOINFLUTESTER. This is a strengthening serum from Kérastase that, according to the product description, is supposed to prevent hair loss due to hair breaking. The serum has ingredients that are supposed to make the hair more resilient and minimize hair loss. The serum is supposed to strengthen and care for the naturally protective barrier in the scalp. The serum should be used once daily in the morning or before bedtime. You can apply up to 4 doses to a dry or towel-dried scalp, section by section. 1 dose = 1 pipette to the mark. The serum should be lightly massaged in and not rinsed out. I was super excited to test this serum since after three pregnancies (six years since the last) I have gotten thinning around the hairline on my forehead. Here, the hair grows extremely poorly, and the little that grows gets a maximum of 6 cm long. Exciting to see if this serum could help. I also generally have hair that never gets as long as I want because it breaks and splits easily. I otherwise have medium-length, Nordic, fine hair with slightly bleached ends - otherwise untreated. I’m starting to go gray (I’m 43 years old). These are my thoughts on the product after 3.5 weeks of use: ✅ Lovely container that looks good on the bathroom shelf ✅ Good pipette that makes application easy, doesn’t drip. ✅ The product doesn’t feel sticky on the hands afterwards (even though you should of course wash it off) ✅ The hair doesn’t feel greasy at all when used (I’ve used it in the evening) 🚨 Quite okay scent (but relatively strong). Smells a bit masculine ❌ The bottle is not very economical in use and the price is quite high. I applied 4 doses each time and used up the product in 4 weeks. ❌ No visible results after four weeks. Maybe you need to use it longer to see results (but now the bottle is empty…) I find it difficult to properly assess this product since I feel it should be used over a longer time frame to see any potential results. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #KERASTASE87427 views- The comment was made 2 monthsHey I have used it for 2 months and can only say like you it does not work for hair loss it smells very strong but I absolutely would not recommend it to others it only makes the hair stiff and greasy I have used it for 2 months think the product is a bit expensive compared to the fact that it does not have the function that is described to reduce HAIR LOSS It has not helped my hair!8 likes

As an influencer, I had the honor of testing this product. The packaging: In glass that feels sleek and luxurious with a smart pipette. So pretty with the ombre colors too. The consistency is gel-like and wonderfully cooling. Good consistency as it doesn't run out so easily 👌. It smells so good, both orange/citrus and a bit of woody undertone yum. Very fresh scent. I feel that the scent settles after a while, which I think is good since I have worked in healthcare. Smells mild but not too strong after a few hours. The pipette has a good clear marking for how much to take and is easy to handle 👌. When I apply the serum, I feel fresh. But my hair gets greasy, and I find it stiff/chunky after it dries. I don't like that it gives me such a greasy impression, something I really work to avoid. Even the next day, I find my hair greasier and with a strange slightly stiffer feeling in my hair. Which I don't like. I've been using it for a while now and notice no significant difference in my hair at all. I assume you need to use it longer. But I'm most irritated that my hair feels so greasy after a while within 1 hour of application for me unfortunately. So I think it's a ridiculously expensive product to give me greasier hair and no difference in hair quality, but I assume you need to use it for more than 2 weeks. I'm not that impressed yet, but I get to test it a bit longer to see if it gets better going forward. But I don't like the feeling in my hair after it has been a while. In the beginning, it feels super fresh and good, which then turns into a greasy strange feeling in the hair🙈. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #KERASTASE90146 views - The post was made 1 dayRating: 5 out of 5
Sometimes you change your mind
I reviewed this a while ago and gave it a very low rating because of the scent and price. Since the product is so expensive, I continued to use it so I wouldn't throw my money away. I am defeated, I didn't want to like this so much but I am really defeated. Just ordered another bottle. Why? It really makes a difference. Aside from the fact that I look like a hedgehog because of the new hair growth, there’s also a bald spot I’ve had since I was 4 years old that has started to grow back. When I was little, I got to whip with the electric mixer in the cake batter and leaned down into the bowl to smell. A strand of my bangs got caught in the mixer and was ripped out. Never got that hair back.. But now! I’ve also tried Loreal Elvital’s Growth Booster which is also good but it’s noticeable liiite more on the scalp, not a greasy feeling but still noticeable. That’s why I’ve chosen to continue with Kerastase. Doesn’t leave the scalp greasy but rather fresher the next day Really makes a difference in hair growth Despite the perfume, not irritating for the scalp Nice packaging - Smells very perfumey but you get used to the scent - Expensive221 views - The post was made 1 dayRating: 4 out of 5verified customer
Lovely product!
I have already used 2 jars of this product and I notice a lot of new hair. I love the scent of the product and it spreads easily. Plus for the glass packaging. #lykoreview202 views - The post was made 1 dayRating: 4 out of 5
Luxury with Results: 4 Weeks with Kérastase Genesis
I have used Kérastase Genesis serum daily for 4 weeks, and I am really excited about the results. First and foremost, the product feels incredibly luxurious – both in scent, consistency, and the way it is applied. The serum is easy to work with, absorbs quickly without feeling heavy or greasy, and makes my hair care routine something I really look forward to. After a few weeks of use, I have noticed a clearly improved growth and generally stronger hair. My hair feels more resilient, while also feeling more well-groomed and healthy. It feels like the serum is really working deep down and not just providing a temporary effect. I have also not experienced any irritation or discomfort – on the contrary, my hair has gained more shine and life, making it a clear favorite in my daily routine. Conclusion: Kérastase Genesis serum lives up to its luxurious reputation while also providing tangible results. I have experienced better growth, stronger hair, and a lovely feeling of care, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for both effectiveness and an exclusive experience in their hair care. Fresh and beautiful, but doesn't reduce hair loss
I have now tested this product for four weeks and had hoped for reduced hair loss, as I have very thin hair and sometimes bald spots at the temples (especially during stressful periods). During these weeks, I see no difference, and there are no signs of new short hair strands that are growing up, so I am skeptical about its effect on hair loss or stronger hair. It smells good and I find it pleasant on the scalp, soothing itchiness. But it is also a bit sticky and feels slightly greasy. Not worth the price in my opinion. Product Review
In collaboration with Smartson, I got to test this product for free. The serum has a slightly runny consistency and is hard to apply with the dropper if you ask me. I have thin hair, and 4 doses as recommended by the product made my hair feel weighed down. I don't have issues with hair loss, so unfortunately I can't evaluate what effect it has. Good, luxurious scent. Nice, luxurious bottle.245 views - The post was made 2 daysRating: 2 out of 5
Easily applied product - But with somewhat questionable effect..
This serum from Kérastase I've used for a total of four weeks and followed the instructions carefully to give the product a fair chance. Despite that, I find it difficult to determine whether it actually lives up to its promises, especially when it comes to preventing hair loss. I have quite a lot of thick hair, if that says anything for this review or for you who are considering whether to buy this serum or not and have a similar hair type as me. I haven't seen any clear or noticeable difference during the usage period, which makes the overall impression somewhat unclear. When it comes to application, there are several positive aspects. The product is very easy to work with, and the pipette makes it smooth to distribute the serum directly onto the scalp in a controlled manner. The consistency itself is pleasant and easy to massage in, and does not leave that “sticky feeling” that can sometimes be experienced when using certain serums and/or oils. Unfortunately, the experience is somewhat diminished by the scent, which I personally find quite strong. For those who are sensitive to scented hair products, this can be a disadvantage. Additionally, I feel that my hair tends to feel a bit greasy after application, which affects the freshness and makes me reluctant to use it during the day. My hair gets quite oily easily, and with this product, it feels like my hair became “greasier” much faster, which I consider a disadvantage. Overall, it is a product that is easy to use but where the results, at least for me, have been hard to see. Maybe a longer usage period is required to notice a clearer effect, but based on my experience, I feel hesitant about whether I would buy it again, especially since the serum is also in the higher price range. Expectations for a product in this price range are high, and at the moment I do not feel that it really meets the expectations. Maybe using it for a longer time will yield better results, but unfortunately, this serum simply does not meet my expectations! Not a serum for my fine hair
I had high expectations for this product, but after use, I'm still unsure about the effect :/ The serum is easy to use and has a good consistency, but I found that my hair had a sticky texture after use and felt greasy, which detracts from the overall experience. Since the product is on the expensive side, I was hoping for more, and therefore I cannot recommend it. The comment was made 3 daysHey! 👋 Thanks for sharing your experience! 💛 It sounds like the Genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant may not have been a hit for you. All hair types and needs react differently. The serum is designed to strengthen the scalp and prevent hair loss, but to see noticeable results, it is often recommended to use it daily for at least 6 weeks. Not worth the money
I have been lucky enough to test this product along with three others from Kerastase, and I had high hopes for this one. I have used it for four weeks, and that is a bit too short to determine if it has really reduced hair loss. I haven't noticed any difference at all. The pipette is good and practical for application. The consistency is good, and it's easy to distribute the product. The scent is slightly strong but pleasant. However, it felt like my hair became sticky (a bit like gum) after it was applied and had sat for a while. I don't know if it's because I have dyed my hair, but that shouldn't be the reason. Since I feel that the product has had no effect at all, the price is too high in relation to its effectiveness. Therefore, I cannot say that I am satisfied.
