Difficult to assess the effect after only 4 weeks of use..
I received this exciting hair product for testing as #LYKOINFLUTESTER. This is a strengthening serum from Kérastase that, according to the product description, is supposed to prevent hair loss due to hair breaking. The serum has ingredients that are supposed to make the hair more resilient and minimize hair loss. The serum is supposed to strengthen and care for the naturally protective barrier in the scalp. The serum should be used once daily in the morning or before bedtime. You can apply up to 4 doses to a dry or towel-dried scalp, section by section. 1 dose = 1 pipette to the mark. The serum should be lightly massaged in and not rinsed out. I was super excited to test this serum since after three pregnancies (six years since the last) I have gotten thinning around the hairline on my forehead. Here, the hair grows extremely poorly, and the little that grows gets a maximum of 6 cm long. Exciting to see if this serum could help. I also generally have hair that never gets as long as I want because it breaks and splits easily. I otherwise have medium-length, Nordic, fine hair with slightly bleached ends - otherwise untreated. I’m starting to go gray (I’m 43 years old). These are my thoughts on the product after 3.5 weeks of use: ✅ Lovely container that looks good on the bathroom shelf ✅ Good pipette that makes application easy, doesn’t drip. ✅ The product doesn’t feel sticky on the hands afterwards (even though you should of course wash it off) ✅ The hair doesn’t feel greasy at all when used (I’ve used it in the evening) 🚨 Quite okay scent (but relatively strong). Smells a bit masculine ❌ The bottle is not very economical in use and the price is quite high. I applied 4 doses each time and used up the product in 4 weeks. ❌ No visible results after four weeks. As an influencer, I had the honor of testing this product. The packaging: In glass that feels sleek and luxurious with a smart pipette. So pretty with the ombre colors too. The consistency is gel-like and wonderfully cooling. Good consistency as it doesn't run out so easily 👌. It smells so good, both orange/citrus and a bit of woody undertone yum. Very fresh scent. I feel that the scent settles after a while, which I think is good since I have worked in healthcare. Smells mild but not too strong after a few hours. The pipette has a good clear marking for how much to take and is easy to handle 👌. When I apply the serum, I feel fresh. But my hair gets greasy, and I find it stiff/chunky after it dries. I don't like that it gives me such a greasy impression, something I really work to avoid. Even the next day, I find my hair greasier and with a strange slightly stiffer feeling in my hair. Which I don't like. I've been using it for a while now and notice no significant difference in my hair at all. I assume you need to use it longer. But I'm most irritated that my hair feels so greasy after a while within 1 hour of application for me unfortunately. So I think it's a ridiculously expensive product to give me greasier hair and no difference in hair quality, but I assume you need to use it for more than 2 weeks. I'm not that impressed yet, but I get to test it a bit longer to see if it gets better going forward. But I don't like the feeling in my hair after it has been a while. It's hard to know the exact results of hair products since it takes time and hair is affected by several factors, but since I started using this serum, I feel like I'm losing significantly less hair than before. I really like the serum and how it feels on my scalp. The scent is something you should notice—it's quite strong and perfumey, but for me, that's a big plus. Luxury product that delivers great results!
I have now tested this serum for a few weeks with great results. At first, it was a bit hard to know how often I should apply it, and I wanted to get my scalp used to the product. I am very sensitive but did not react. Good scent, although somewhat perfumed. The result then? I have some hair loss due to iron deficiency from before, and I often have my hair up, which also affects it. It took a couple of weeks before I noticed results, but gradually I started to see more and more baby hairs coming through. (They are very light, so hard to distinguish in pictures). I find my “vikar” less pronounced after these weeks and will continue to buy the product. The only downside is, of course, that it is expensive. I got to test this product in collaboration with #smartson. I have had this on my shopping list for a long time and finally got to try it. I haven't had it for more than about 4 weeks, so I can't give a complete review. I found the scent pleasant, not too strong as I've seen some say. The pipette felt very large, but one pipette was enough for the areas I want the serum on. I don't know if I directly see any difference in hair growth, but my scalp feels better, and I notice a difference before and after starting. The consistency was good without becoming too oily and didn't make my hair greasy, which is a big plus. Overall, I give this a good rating, but I need to test it longer to get a more comprehensive perspective! Big disappointment
After using the product according to the instructions, I find that my hair has not become stronger or much more. What I have experienced is that my hair gets greasier faster and feels heavy. Hard to judge
I have had the chance to test Kérastase Genesis Sérum Anti-Chute Fortifiant Scalp serum for a few weeks now, but unfortunately, I haven't noticed any significant difference in hair loss yet. The bottle is glass and feels luxurious. The formula applies smoothly with a pipette. It has a pretty strong scent which I initially didn't mind, but after a couple of weeks, I've grown tired of it since the serum is supposed to be applied every day. It sinks in easily, but I've had to wash my hair more often due to build up. It doesn't look dirty, but I feel like it shows and feels. It's not particularly economical, one bottle barely lasts the recommended period (six weeks). This makes the price feel high, even on sale. It's hard to say if the serum has made any difference in such a short time. Others seem more positive, but I won't continue using this product, mainly due to the price and the strong scent.
