I had the opportunity to be a test pilot for both of these serums for several weeks and I am very satisfied with how they work together. The first thing I noticed was the scent, both products smell fantastic, just like when you come out of the salon. 💈 The scent lingers for a long time and gives a luxurious feeling during use. However, one should be aware that they are quite perfumed, so if you are sensitive to strong scents, these products may not be the best choice. Genesis Serum Anti-Chute Fortifiant💕 This serum feels very light in the hair and does not weigh down the roots, which is something I am particularly sensitive to since I easily get oily hair quickly. After several weeks of use, I find that my hair stays fresh for a long time and that the serum does not make my scalp oilier. It absorbs quickly and gives a fresh, light feeling without leaving any residue. I have also noticed that my baby hairs have become longer and denser. Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum💗 The night serum is also very light in consistency. It moisturizes the hair overnight without making it heavy or greasy. I find that my hair feels softer, more manageable, and easier to brush out. Again, the scent is a big plus, it feels warm, luxurious, and very salon-like. The price of these 2 products is undoubtedly quite high and it is not a spontaneous purchase. But after using them for several weeks, I feel that they are actually worth the money. The scent, the feeling in the hair, and the fact that they do not make the hair greasy despite being nourishing make me truly experience them as quality products. It feels like a salon experience at home, which justifies the price. A little summary of my review: Scent: Wonderful salon scent, but quite perfume-heavy. Feeling in the hair: Both products are light and do not make the hair greasy, which is perfect for those of us who quickly get oily at the scalp. Effect: The hair feels softer, lighter, and healthier without being weighed down. Also more hair growth. Best suited for: You who want light products that do not make the hair greasy and who love scent! But not for those who are sensitive to perfume. I was so happy when I got the honor to test these two from Kérastase! I was really looking forward to it. But unfortunately, I can't leave a, in my opinion, fair review since I couldn't handle the scent of either of them. So incredibly sad! I can absolutely be sensitive to scents, but I couldn't in my wildest dreams imagine that they could smell so strong and give such a "heavy" feeling 😭 I made a brave attempt, but it didn't work. I have been testing these serums for several weeks. The first thing I think of is the scent, it is quite a strong scent on both, so if you are a bit sensitive to that, these might not be the absolute best products for you, but I personally appreciate the scents, they feel fresh and invigorating. Kérastase 8H Overnight Serum I use the serum as the description says every day before I go to bed. I also tend to use it after I shower along with my other products. It has a lovely creamy consistency and as mentioned, the scent is super fresh. My hair feels smooth and manageable in the morning. I feel like it gets more shine. But I have quite frizzy hair at times, and then I feel like it doesn't quite tame the frizz. Kérastase Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant I also apply this one as the description says, about 2 pipettes to the scalp. I usually use a brush to distribute the serum more after I’ve applied it. I don’t think it weighs my hair down. I get almost more volume when I use it than when I skip it. I’m not sure if it makes my hair grow since I haven’t seen any significant difference in my hair, however, I feel that my hair has become thicker as if it feels better at the scalp, which is a big plus since I think my hair can get a bit limp and dull. Based on the price, it brings the rating down a bit, I feel that you can achieve similar results with a lower price tag. But if you want luxurious good products and are willing to pay, these are products that do their job and feel luxurious. I had the opportunity to be a test pilot for these products. My first impressions of the products were that they have a very nice scent, both of them. I also liked the consistency of both as the Kerastase Genesis Serum is light and absorbs well into the scalp, and I also didn’t feel that my hair looked or felt "greasy" afterwards, which was a plus. The Kerastase Magic Night Serum also absorbed quickly into the hair and was easy to apply to the lengths. The size of the bottles is reasonably large, so you get a lot of product, but I specifically think the Genesis serum runs out way too quickly if you follow the dosage instructions on the bottle. After these 5 weeks of testing, the Genesis Serum is basically completely gone, but I still have half a bottle of the Magic Night Serum left. Since these products are also in the higher price range. Regarding the results that the products promise, I think it matches well, I have felt a difference in losing fewer hair strands and reduced frizz with more shine. So what makes the review not a full score is mostly the high price and the amount of Genesis serum used. I have thin, Scandinavian hair and a sensitive scalp, so products that go on the scalp have always been a bit difficult for me. My hair also tends to get a bit dry in the lengths. I have been using Kérastase Genesis Serum Anti-Chute Fortifiant for about 5 weeks and it has worked well for me. The serum feels light, doesn't get sticky, and my scalp hasn't reacted. I feel like my hair feels a bit stronger and I'm losing less hair, even though it's early and hard to say exactly how much. I have also used Kérastase Nutritive 8H Overnight Serum during the same period. It has made my hair easier to brush and I no longer get as many tangles in the morning. My first impression of Genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant was that it smelled good and was a lightweight serum that easily absorbed into the scalp. The dropper worked perfectly to distribute the product easily onto the scalp. The Nutritive 8H Overnight Serum also smelled incredible (for me, the scent is important even though the function is of course the most important). This one is also easy to apply in the right amount to the hair. I love using these two serums, it’s clear that they are high-quality products, and even though the final result takes a bit of time, my hair and scalp feel moisturized and more cared for from the very first treatment. The hair isn’t weighed down and doesn’t feel greasy. The products really add something. After using all the serum (5-6 weeks), my hair definitely feels stronger and healthier. However, I will buy another round to see what happens over an even longer period. My hair has been very brittle after a significant weight loss and the effects of menopause. The fact that I also bleach and dye my hair has also contributed to this. My hair has previously both fallen out and thinned, and this has really improved during the use of these two serums. My hair feels fuller and looks noticeably better and healthier. I am so grateful that I got the chance to test these, they are now a part of my hair routine. I have always been careful with my skincare in several steps, and I can’t understand why I haven’t given my hair the same care until now? I had the opportunity to be #lykotestpilot of these Kerastase products! When I got them home, they felt incredibly luxurious, and both products smell really good and fresh. The serum has helped my hair grow faster than I’ve experienced before, and I’ve gotten many new hair strands on my head!!🩷 The night cream for hair feels like a filter for the hair, they become so incredibly moisturized and soft (perfect now in winter when the hair is extra dry). I usually do heatless curls almost every night, and that cream is really good for that too! Would I buy them again? Both yes and no, the price is really high, but considering that the products last maybe 1.5 months if you use them every day. But otherwise, they are really 5/5! I have had the opportunity to test and use these products together for 5 weeks and can already see and feel a difference. Genesis anti-chute fortifiant anti hair-fall serum💖 The best serum I have tested so far! It has a strong perfume scent, but nothing I experienced made any difference when it came to results. My hair HAS gotten longer in a short time! Nutritive 8H Overnight Serum 🧡 Super good product! What I liked most was that it worked excellently in dry hair, and the way it revitalizes the hair and moisturizes! I will definitely buy it again! I usually don’t use serums in dry hair, but these two worked well even a few days after I washed my hair! I had the opportunity to be a test pilot for the Genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant & Nutritive 8H Overnight Serum for 5 weeks and I am satisfied with both products, which suited my hair type very well. The first thing I noticed was the feeling of luxury you get from the products and their design. The scent of the products reminds me of salon visits, and it feels luxurious. Genesis Serum Anti-Chute Fortifiant. This viral and talked-about serum was fun to test, and I absolutely think it’s worth the hype. The product feels very light in the hair and does not weigh down the roots and absolutely does not create a "product feel" after application. I have used the product almost daily for weeks, and I feel that my hair in the areas where I chose to apply the product has grown, and the hair strands feel stronger. I am including before and after pictures so you can see the results after weeks; I look forward to continuing to use the product and see what happens to the quality of my hair. The scent is somewhat strong, which can make it difficult to use if you are sensitive to scents, but I can react to products that have a strong scent, but I have not noticed anything regarding this product. The pipette used to apply the product is well designed and does not drip, even though the product is quite liquid in the formula. Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum. The night serum has been a product I truly appreciate. My hair strands are very fine and sensitive, but I notice how this serum has moisturized and protected the strands overnight. It is also very light in consistency. I find that my hair feels softer, more manageable, and easier to brush out when I wake up in the morning. The scent is quite strong, but nothing I have reacted to, and the formula creates a feeling of luxury. I understand that people may think the price of these 2 products is quite high, but I really think you get what you pay for with these products. You can tell that the products are well-crafted and truly make a difference for your hair. As a reference, I have straight, fine Scandinavian hair. (Thin fine hair strands that easily break) & my hair can often have difficulty cooperating with products and easily gets a "greasy" feel from products. I am very fond of Kérastase products overall and a person who likes to test different hair products. Summary: Scent: Quite perfumed products. Feel in hair: Both products are light and easy to work into the hair and do not create a film or product feel. Effect: My hair feels softer, stronger, and fresher and has experienced faster hair growth in my temples. Best suited for: You who want professional products that really work for this hair type but are not sensitive to scent. I can really recommend both of these products, and I have used them in combination with Kérastase Elixir Ultime L'Huile originale Hair Oil, which I also warmly recommend. For five weeks, I have been able to test these talked-about products! Hyped on both TikTok and Instagram, but unfortunately, I can't really agree with this hype. Genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant: if you read the packaging, you should distribute 4 doses in the hair. I found it difficult to get the right amount in the pipette as it was marked how much 1 dose is. Unfortunately, I experienced that my hair became greasy quickly when I applied 4 doses every day, I tried applying either in the morning or evening to see if it made any difference. That the product smells good, I can't agree with, I mostly thought it smelled incredibly strong and chemical. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any results from this serum after using it for about 5 weeks. Nutritive 8H Overnight Serum: this serum will definitely be a repurchase! It melted into the hair and made it soft, shiny, and not so frizzy. The best is to apply it to damp hair as it gets the chance to soak into the hair while the strands are a bit open, this way I got the best results. In summary, I am 50/50 satisfied, the price is within a reasonable amount if you are going to buy it as a kit. After using these products for five weeks, I have noticed a huge difference in my hair quality! My hair feels stronger and I have never had such shine before! Many people have asked what perfume I use since I started using these products, they smell absolutely incredible and it becomes a daily luxury in itself! The glass bottles and the pipette are also 🫦 NOTE! If you are sensitive to strong scents, Genesis Serum Anti-chute Fortifiant is not for you. I usually tolerate a lot of fragrance but found this one to be a bit too much. Hence my rating of 4/5. Other than that, this is a fantastic product. I have huge problems with oily hair so I was skeptical about how it would feel with product on my scalp, but it is so light in consistency and doesn't show at all after it dries. I have actually forced my fiancé to try this during these weeks as he is in a phase where his hair is starting to fall out, we both think it has helped!?
