A product I will NEVER stop buying after this. As a Lyko influencer tester, I get the chance to try products and then give you, as usual, an honest review. So much fun! And extra fun when it becomes a product that has been missing in my hair routine. This has honestly given my hair a new life. Giving my hair a serum filled with moisture means I wake up every morning with vibrant hair. I honestly don't think I'll ever stop using this serum? It's so good that I find it hard to see how I could live without it. If you need moisture and are only going to buy 1 product, buy this!! Strong perfume and makes hair greasy
I really wanted to like this and join in on others' praise for this product… but unfortunately, I don't like it at all. 1. The scent is too strong, intense, and lasts until the next day and beyond if you don't wash your hair. OK, I thought, I'll survive it if it's otherwise a good product. 2. The hair became shiny right away. Looked promising! I felt like it quickly absorbed into the hair. 3. The morning after, the freshly washed hair from the night before feels greasy and oily as if I had spray and other products in my hair (a feeling I don't like). 4. The hair became rough and tangled more easily. My absolute favorite product
I have tested Kérastase's Magic Night Serum for curly hair for a month and it has become my absolute favorite product. Previously, I tried using a bit of oil in my hair but it makes the hair greasy and heavy. This serum smells fantastic, for starters. I used 2-3 pumps in the evening and distributed it first in my palms before I ran it through my hair. In fact, I also use it in the morning but only 1-2 pumps. It leaves my hair more well-groomed and without the annoying frizz. It neither weighs down nor makes the hair greasy, and it just smells good. It gets my warmest recommendation. Is the nutritive serum worth it?
I have been using the Nutritive serum daily for 4 weeks, and I must say that I am positively surprised by the results. Already after the first couple of weeks of use, I could notice a clear difference. The serum feels light and absorbs quickly, without leaving a greasy or heavy feeling. It has been easy to integrate into my daily routine, and a small amount has been sufficient, making the product last longer. After 4 weeks, I experience that the area where I have used the serum feels more nourished, softer, and healthier. I have especially noticed that dryness has been reduced, and the surface generally appears smoother and well-groomed. The product provides a feeling of long-lasting moisture and care rather than just a temporary effect. Softer and less frizzy hair in 4 weeks!
I have tested this serum overnight for four weeks and am really positively surprised! My hair is noticeably less frizzy, with fewer antennas sticking out, without leaving a greasy film. It doesn't get greasier overnight than it was the night before. Plus, it smells really good! I think that if I use this for a longer time, I can wait longer to get a haircut and eventually be able to grow my hair longer! Since the hair is less frizzy, it also doesn't break as easily when brushing. I've used about half the bottle in a month. Overall an okay product
I have curly hair and have been using this night serum for 4 weeks. It provides nice softness in the lengths, and my hair feels shinier in the morning. It also helps a bit with frizz, and the ends feel less dry. The consistency is creamy and easy to distribute in the hair before bedtime. Cons: The scent is quite strong and very perfumed. While some might call it luxurious, I find it can be a bit overwhelming – especially when you have to sleep with it all night. Additionally, the product is not Curly Girl method friendly, as it contains silicones. I also experienced that if I used a bit too much, my curls could feel a bit heavy the next day. Given the price, I might have expected a lighter formula. Overall an okay product, but not a clear favorite for my curly hair. In collaboration with Smartson, I got to test this product for free. The serum in the pump bottle has a perfect consistency and is easy to apply if you ask me. I have thin hair, and 2 doses as recommended by the product felt good and didn't weigh my hair down. No greasy feeling afterwards, but rather more moisturized. The serum that is a must in your evening hair routine
This night serum from Kérastase is undoubtedly one of the most impressive hair products I have tested. I previously tested this serum for a period and already experienced then that it was a serum that played in its own league. Already after the first use, a noticeable difference was evident, and now, with regular application over four weeks, I feel that my hair has gradually become both healthier and more well-groomed. The consistency of this serum is very light and silky, making it super easy for you to distribute the serum in the lengths before bedtime. The serum absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy or sticky feeling on either hair or pillow. The morning after you have applied the serum, I find that my hair feels noticeably softer, is more manageable, and has a beautiful, healthy shine. Frizz is reduced, and the hair feels stronger and more hydrated. It is truly “8 hour magic night”! The formula contains, among other things, plant proteins and niacinamide, ingredients that help to moisturize and strengthen the hair overnight. The result is hair that not only looks healthier but also feels significantly stronger and more resilient. The scent is elegant and sophisticated, with a clear salon feel that enhances the entire experience. Applying the serum has become a cherished part of my evening routine; it is simply a little moment of everyday luxury before bedtime. The serum belongs to the higher price range; however, it truly feels more like a necessary investment than wasted money. Fragrant but not so great results
I've seen that this serum has gotten a lot of attention on social media lately. From my perspective, as someone who finished the whole bottle, I thought it smelled AMAZING and laid nicely on the hair. However, I didn't see any difference in hair quality. Sure, the hair became softer, but it didn't feel stronger over time or anything. I have pretty thin and curly hair, so I don't know if it's due to hair type. Lovely serum
Many night serum treatments can be a bit too heavy for my fine hair, but this serum is different :) It's a light cream that "disappears" into the hair overnight. No, no, no!
I’ve been lucky enough to test four products from Kerastase, and I really want to love this one… but I can’t. The positive is that my hair has become somewhat nicer and shinier, but I couldn’t use the product for at least four weeks as we were supposed to in the test. It smells WAY too strong and disturbed both my and my partner’s sleep. If it comes in a new variant with a calmer scent, I will definitely buy it despite the high price, but not as it is now.
