A product I will NEVER stop buying after this. As a Lyko influencer tester, I get the chance to try products and then give you, as usual, an honest review. So much fun! And extra fun when it becomes a product that has been missing in my hair routine. This has honestly given my hair a new life. Giving my hair a serum filled with moisture means I wake up every morning with vibrant hair. I honestly don't think I'll ever stop using this serum? It's so good that I find it hard to see how I could live without it. If you need moisture and are only going to buy 1 product, buy this!! Strong perfume and makes hair greasy
I really wanted to like this and join in on others' praise for this product… but unfortunately, I don't like it at all. 1. The scent is too strong, intense, and lasts until the next day and beyond if you don't wash your hair. OK, I thought, I'll survive it if it's otherwise a good product. 2. The hair became shiny right away. Looked promising! I felt like it quickly absorbed into the hair. 3. The morning after, the freshly washed hair from the night before feels greasy and oily as if I had spray and other products in my hair (a feeling I don't like). 4. The hair became rough and tangled more easily. Kérastase 8H Magic Night Serum
I have tested Kérastase Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum as part of my evening hair routine for 3 months, and this is actually a product I have changed my opinion about since my first experience was not particularly impressive... When I started using it, my hair was in significantly worse condition than it is today. The first few times, I almost felt like my hair felt worse the next morning... a bit stiff and almost like chewing gum in texture. But after improving my overall hair care routine and getting my hair in better condition, I started to notice something completely different. Now I feel that the serum really can do its job 🩷 I only use it the evening after washing my hair, on lengths and ends, and let it work overnight. The next morning, the lengths feel softer, more manageable, and well cared for, and I think the hair gets a nicer shine and less frizz. It actually made me think about how much the starting condition of the hair affects how a product is experienced. Sometimes it might not be the product that is wrong, the hair might simply need a different type of care first. What I like ✨ Makes hair softer and more manageable ✨ Gives the lengths a more well-cared-for feeling ✨ I experience less frizz ✨ Gives a nice shine ✨ Very easy to use (apply and sleep) ✨ Does not need to be rinsed out in the morning 🌸 The scent This one has a fairly strong scent, so that is definitely something to be aware of. Personally, I like it. I think it feels a bit luxurious and almost like a little spa/salon feeling before bedtime. 🥰 I was actually quite skeptical after my first uses. When my hair was in worse condition, I didn’t feel the "wow feeling" I had hoped for at all. But today, when my hair care routine works better and my hair is in a better basic condition, I have had a completely different experience. For me, it is therefore not a product I use every night, but an extra caring step after washing my hair when I want to give the lengths a little more care overnight. It doesn’t feel like a miracle cure, but like a product that complements an already good hair care routine. My hair has always been a bit dry since I often wash it and maybe don’t always take care of it. I’ve tried different products but always feel like my hair gets a bit greasy afterwards. Incredible Scent
I have really enjoyed the Kérastase Night Serum! ✨ It’s a lovely serum to use in the evening, and my hair feels softer, shinier, and more cared for after use. I especially like that it doesn’t feel heavy or sticky in the hair, which is a big plus since I want to be able to use it regularly. The scent is also very luxurious and makes it feel like a little self-care routine before bedtime. 💕 However, I wish the effect on split ends and frizz was even more noticeable considering the price. A magical serum that is supposed to work for 8 hours, so I apply it before I go to bed at night🥰 I have now tested a bottle of this magical serum and I notice my hair has become so much softer and shinier🎀 My hair has become stronger and with much less frizz😍🤗 The serum is light and doesn’t feel greasy the next day, like some hair serums can. 🌙✨ My favorite serum to use at night!
I really think this night serum from Kérastase is one of those products that makes the hair care routine a bit more luxurious. I love the whole idea of applying a serum in the evening and then waking up with hair that feels softer and more well cared for. 🤍 I usually take one pump and distribute it mainly through the lengths and ends before going to bed. It really doesn’t need much, which I like because I can easily overdo hair products otherwise. 😂 What I like most is the feeling the next morning. The hair feels softer, smoother, and much easier to manage. I especially like using it when the lengths feel a bit dry and need extra moisture. And THE SCENT! 😍 It’s really such a typically luxurious Kérastase scent. I think it’s the kind of scent that makes the whole evening routine feel a bit more like a spa moment at home. The fact that the hair still smells good in the morning is also a big plus. I also like that the serum doesn’t need to be rinsed out. You just apply it at night and let it do its thing while you sleep. So simple, yet it still feels like you’re doing something extra for your hair. Another thing I appreciate is that the hair still feels airy afterwards. I want lots of moisture and softness, but absolutely not the feeling that the hair is greasy or overloaded. This has definitely become one of those products I like to use when I want to pamper my hair a little extra. I travel NOWHERE without this! I used to be skeptical about the slightly more expensive products from Kerastase, but after trying this, I have to admit, it IS worth it! Especially this night serum saves my hair time and time again, I’m so surprised that my bleached hair can feel SO soft, just because of one product! Since it’s a more expensive product, I only use it 1-2 times a week, one pump, but it does an absurd amount for my hair and I will never be without this again. The consistency is initially slightly thick, but as soon as you warm it up in your hands, it turns into a light and fluid serum. The scent is heavenly, I love the scent and it feels luxurious every time I get the product in my hair.
