    Soothing Serum

I am participating in a test panel and have received a free test product. My starting condition for my hair is an unbalanced scalp, seborrheic eczema, itching/burning, and I get oily hair quickly. I have a hard time with heavy products that make my hair greasy. My first reaction is the scent! It smells really good, not over the top, but a fresh and clean scent, think of the smell of freshly washed. The consistency is a mix between oil and water. Light and doesn’t make the hair greasy or weigh it down. I recommend applying it in the evening so it can soak in/dry overnight. I have tested both putting it in freshly washed towel-dried hair that is then blow-dried and dry hair that air-dries, and it works super well both ways! The product has definitely soothed my itching and reduced the irritation of my eczema, but I wouldn’t say that it has helped with the most problematic seborrheic eczema during these weeks.. which I actually think is something I should investigate further. In conclusion, I would say that this product is suitable for someone who has problems that come in periods, e.g. when it gets colder or unspecified imbalance in the scalp. If you have bigger problems year-round, I would focus on something from the pharmacy.

    No difference

I have had recurring problems with an itchy scalp for many years. Therefore, I need to use specific shampoo that helps me in the long run, and when I saw that there is serum from such a good brand as Kerastase that is supposed to help balance the scalp, I got super excited to try it! The serum came in a really nice packaging and smells divine! But unfortunately, I experienced no other benefits... It says that you should use the serum once a day for 3 weeks, and today I finished the course, but unfortunately, I notice absolutely no difference. I first thought that I could skip my specific shampoo and see if just the serum would solve my itchy scalp, but after using it for two weeks straight and there was no change, I had to start using the shampoo again. The consistency is pleasant, and I have used exactly 3 doses every day (as it said on the packaging), but I felt that the 3 doses were not enough for the whole head (only the front then). I would have liked to use more, but then I am afraid it wouldn't have been sufficient. One plus, however, is that the hair does not get oily from it, regardless of whether you use it on towel-dried hair or on dry hair. My final answer is that if this serum existed just for the scent and didn't cost as much, I would want to buy it over and over again, but otherwise, it unfortunately won't be a purchase any time... I had the opportunity to test this serum on behalf of Smartson and got it completely free.

A Helping Hand for the Scalp

I almost always have a scalp that is oily, itchy, and dry at the same time. I've tried almost everything without effect. After the first applications, I felt like my hair became oily after just a few hours. But over time, I experience a more balanced scalp. It still itches and flakes a little, but not at all like before! A big bonus is that for the first time, I feel like I've started to get volume at the roots. I also feel like I've had more hair growth at the forehead. Unfortunately, I think the product is not very economical. So it will get expensive in the long run. Something I don't quite understand is that this is supposed to be a treatment, but after using it for 3 weeks and then stopping, the problems started creeping back. I've now used it about 1-2 times a week. The big downside, the smell! Very strong scent that lingers. I am participating in a test panel and received a free test product.

    Serum for Scalp Issues

I was excited to try the Potentialiste serum as I occasionally experience imbalance in my scalp. ✨Packaging: The bottle is nice and feels luxurious. The dropper makes it easy to pick up the right amount. 💆‍♀️Application: I preferred to drop the serum into my hands and then massage it into my scalp. It said that you could store it in the fridge, which I liked because it gave a cooling sensation upon application. It takes a little while for the serum to dry in when using the recommended amount. A few times my scalp reacted after application. The consistency is not oily but more gel-like. The hair does not look greasy from the product, which I think is important. 🌊Scent: The product is scented (and contains alcohol denat), which is good to keep in mind if you have a sensitive scalp that easily gets irritated. I think the scent leans more towards men's fragrance. Fresh and a bit aquatic, not super strong but noticeable. 🌿Results: I haven't noticed any significant differences in how my scalp feels or how often I've experienced issues since I started using the product. Perhaps it alleviates the discomfort when they do arise, but it may not be a miracle cure for sensitive scalps. I am participating in a test panel and received a free test product.

    Not convinced YET, but good!

I have tested the serum for ten days and find it so far to be quite neutral, neither good nor bad. The scent is fresh and pleasant, which makes the application a nice moment. The consistency feels light, and the serum absorbs quickly without weighing the hair down. So far, I haven't noticed any significant difference in hair quality or scalp condition, but it feels nourishing during use. I look forward to seeing if the effect becomes more noticeable with the next course. A good start, but no miracles so far. I am participating in a test panel and received a free test product.

    Totally okay

I have very dry scalp and the only thing that helps is that I wash my hair often, unfortunately I have also dyed my hair which means I don't want to wash my hair that often so that the color lasts as long as possible! I thought this oil might help with my itchy scalp so that I could maybe take a little longer break between washes, i.e. maybe every 3-4 days instead of every other, which my scalp prefers. The treatment is to be taken for 3 weeks, which I have now done, and I definitely noticed that it itched a LITTLE less, but unfortunately no wow effect. I have now gone back to washing my hair every other day, you can't have it all here in the world, and having fun colors in my hair + a scalp that feels good is unfortunately something I have to realize I won't achieve at the same time. The consistency of the serum is however very pleasant, and the hair doesn't get greasy whether you use it on dry or damp hair! The scent was totally okay but also nothing wow! If the product had been cheaper, I would absolutely consider continuing with it, but for the price and the effect being just okay, this is something I unfortunately won't buy again! 4/5

I have used the product on towel-dried hair and I find that it is the best! Then I blow-dry my hair and you can't feel the product on the scalp 🤗 It smells good and pleasant, not too strong in my opinion. It's easy to distribute the serum in the hair with the pipette and then rub it in with your fingers. I don't notice any huge difference yet, but I will continue to use the serum to see what effect it can have! I think the price is a bit steep and I would have liked to see it as a miracle product for that price if I'm going to buy it again 😅 I am participating in a test panel and have received a free test product.

    Great product that works!

I suffer every fall from imbalance in my scalp and have tried all possible products and home remedies. That said, I also didn't have high expectations for this product. I was also very skeptical that it wouldn't rinse out since it's a leave-in product, as my hair very easily looks greasy and oily, and this is still a three-week treatment. But this product has truly exceeded expectations! The serum smells fantastic and doesn't weigh down the hair, but I experience a freshness in the hair that similar products don't have. The serum is easy to use with a clear description, however, I am somewhat skeptical that you should only use three pipette doses per day (I sometimes use more to distribute the serum throughout the scalp/hair). When it comes to the results of the product, it is a good product that works. My scalp felt dry and itchy before the treatment, which has completely disappeared now after. It feels like the serum has kept the hair moisturized, and I experience more shine than before the treatment. The product would have received 5/5 if it had a thicker consistency. Good serum

I have been using this serum for almost 3 weeks. I have long hair and my scalp tends to be quite oily. Usually, I wash my hair every day because I work out. But sometimes my scalp itches, especially if I don't have time to dry my hair properly. I started using this serum every time I wash my hair. At first, I didn't notice much of a difference, but then I started blow-drying my hair right afterward. And then I saw how much more volume I had at the roots! I haven't had an itchy scalp for two weeks now, and my scalp feels pretty good. I can't say if it was solely the serum that made a difference, but it's nice to use. It smells good, and my hair feels nice and soft. I recommend at least trying the serum, as it really is nice to use. However, it's probably not a miracle product. I am participating in a Smartson test panel and received this serum as a free test product.

    Relieves unbalanced scalp

The product has a nice packaging and is easy to use. The serum smells very good and I have applied it to wet hair after washing since it still makes the hair wet. I feel that the hair hasn't felt greasy but has still felt freshly washed and smelled good. The serum hasn't weighed down the hair either but has made it feel fresh. I have had problems with dry scalp especially now that it has gotten cold outside and the serum has relieved the itching. My scalp still itches a little but it has gotten better. Recommending!

I absolutely recommend this product. It has a very light consistency, not greasy or thick in any way and distributes easily in the scalp with the help of the dropper. During the winter months, I usually get an itchy and dry scalp, which I think this has helped significantly with. I can no longer see any dry patches on my scalp after 2 weeks of use. Would absolutely recommend! The hair does not get greasy from the product, which I was initially worried about. It will be exciting to see how this helps over a longer period! Used against flaking scalp

I am positively surprised by this serum. I have thick, long hair and during colder periods I have problems with dry and flaking scalp in certain areas, mostly the front part of the head, like the bangs. The serum is light, doesn't stick, and smells fresh. I feel that my scalp feels better with fewer dry patches after 2.5 weeks of use. I don't find that my hair gets greasy or heavy, I've tried both in freshly washed towel-dried hair and in dry hair. It is quite "watery" in consistency, so if you use it in dry hair, you might need to dry it a bit with a blow dryer. In the picture I attached, you can see some dry flakes, but you can't clearly see where in the scalp they come from. It didn't look like this 3 weeks ago, then there were clear dry spots where you could scrape off flakes. I am participating in a test panel and received a free test product.
