Awesome detox shampoo
Fantastic product that I have used for many years, it absolutely does its job and both the hair and scalp feel clean afterwards. However, I experienced that you have to be careful not to use it too often as it dries out and you can easily get irritated, but you should use a good shampoo and conditioner with a lot of moisture afterwards. I used Kevin Murphy's moisture line which makes the hair magical. However, I have stopped using detox shampoo and now use hair scrub (Bodyshop's ginger) which is magical!

Hair loss?
It took quite a bit of product to get it through all my hair even though I have short hair. I probably used 4 times as much as my usual shampoo. Waited a minute and then rinsed out. The hair immediately felt like a twig bush, incredibly dry and nasty. When I took out a hair mask, I got a lot of hair on my hands. Collected some of it and set it aside (picture). Then I used absolute repair molecular in a huge amount and let it work in the hair for 1-2 minutes. Today the hair is flat, completely without the volume I'm used to but very thin, fine, and soft. The last qualities probably not because of the shampoo. My scalp looks better, tightens a bit but it seems like the product cleans well. However, I wonder if maybe I don't like rosemary? I tried an oil with it on my scalp and it didn't go well. So keep in mind for my review that the tightness I feel and my hair loss might be because the product contains rosemary or do you have any other good suggestions? You usually know better than me. Please excuse the makeup-free picture but I wanted to show how the hair looks unstyled. I will want to get more volume.

Not bad at all
There is no doubt that this cleansing shampoo works very well. But it has some challenges. I have typical Nordic hair – very many, but very thin strands. The hair is untreated and I rarely use products. But when I do, this cleansing shampoo would be a good choice. However, I struggle a lot to open the cap. And this applies to all bottles of this variant from Kevin Murphy. I had to use a flat iron to flip it open. And the cap is persistently difficult to open. So if you absolutely want to buy this product, and maybe aren’t very strong in your fingers, you should pour the contents into another bottle. The scent does not work for me at all. Because if you are like me and grew up with an old-fashioned cabin without running water, the scent profile is composed so that it can remind you of a type of lime product used in connection with these. Those who know, know. I also find the scent strong, and it lingers for a long time. My hair became clean and nice, and I had no reactions. I used it together with the Hydrate-me.rinse conditioner from the same brand. For me, it foamed very well, was easy to rinse out, and the hair did not get tired. But as mentioned, my hair is quite thin – that might be the reason. Sometimes it’s hard to give the right number of stars to a product – because one thing is what I think about it for my own use, and another is how it works generally. For me, this is 2 stars, generally it’s worth 4 stars. So that makes 3 stars. The product was a special offer for Lyko Creators.

Maxi wash detox shampoo
I think Kevin Murphy Maxi Wash Detox Shampoo is a very good cleansing shampoo. It cleans the hair really well, and after washing, the scalp and hair feel very clean and fresh. It’s nice to use occasionally when the hair needs a proper detox and to remove product buildup. The only thing I’m not so fond of is the scent. It’s a bit unusual and didn’t quite appeal to me. Fortunately, it doesn’t affect how well the shampoo works. All in all, I think this is a good detox shampoo that does exactly what it promises, and the hair feels clean and light after use. #creatorkevinmurphy

Best detox
Best detox shampoo I've used. Can be used often without drying out the hair too much or irritating the scalp. I use proper moisture from conditioner/hair mask and then it's just great – also on curly/wavy hair.

I have now tried MAXI.WASH! Big thanks to LYKO and KEVIN.MURPHY for the incredible offer! Since many wrote that it was concentrated and required a large amount, I probably took too much… I guess I looked like I had an unbaked meringue on my head ;) Let it sit for a while, then rinse the hair. Washed once with my usual shampoo, rinsed out. Then took a generous amount of my hair treatment from Björn Axén, let it sit for a good while. I seem to be the only one who doesn’t think the hair became tangled, rough, etc.! Instead, it became shiny, soft, and with a lovely fresh feeling! Highly recommended 🏆

Deep cleansing!🤩
This shampoo really makes the hair feel deeply clean without drying it out. I've also noticed a big difference with my itchy scalp, it feels much calmer after washing. Will definitely continue to use it! 💚

A shampoo that should be mandatory!
Really love Kevin Murphy's hair products. Got their detox shampoo + Hydrate Me (Shampoo & Conditioner) and am so incredibly satisfied 🙋‍♀️💜 This detox cleans the hair DEEPLY and removes all discolorations and product residues. Once I got greenish tones in my hair because we highlighted the hair with yellow pigments 💛 on a toner that shifted to blue 💙 Nothing worked to remove the green discoloration – except Kevin Murphy’s 'Detox Shampoo'. My hairdresser was overjoyed that I got all the gunk out of my hair so quickly 🌟 Recommended for everyone to use a few times now and then between your regular hair washes. #creatorkevinmurphy

Unusual scent
A bit of an unusual scent since it doesn’t smell like flowers like many others, but more like fresh herbs. You definitely need to use a good shampoo and conditioner after using the detox because the hair gets stripped of old products, silicone, and oil. The hair feels very clean and that feeling lasts longer than with other products I’ve used. #creatorkevinmurphy #konkurranseinflutester
