Awesome detox shampoo
Fantastic product that I have used for many years, it absolutely does its job and both the hair and scalp feel clean afterwards. However, I experienced that you have to be careful not to use it too often as it dries out and you can easily get irritated, but you should use a good shampoo and conditioner with a lot of moisture afterwards. I used Kevin Murphy's moisture line which makes the hair magical. However, I have stopped using detox shampoo and now use hair scrub (Bodyshop's ginger) which is magical!

Hair loss?
It took quite a bit of product to get it through all my hair even though I have short hair. I probably used 4 times as much as my usual shampoo. Waited a minute and then rinsed out. The hair immediately felt like a twig bush, incredibly dry and nasty. When I took out a hair mask, I got a lot of hair on my hands. Collected some of it and set it aside (picture). Then I used absolute repair molecular in a huge amount and let it work in the hair for 1-2 minutes. Today the hair is flat, completely without the volume I'm used to but very thin, fine, and soft. The last qualities probably not because of the shampoo. My scalp looks better, tightens a bit but it seems like the product cleans well. However, I wonder if maybe I don't like rosemary? I tried an oil with it on my scalp and it didn't go well. So keep in mind for my review that the tightness I feel and my hair loss might be because the product contains rosemary or do you have any other good suggestions? You usually know better than me. Please excuse the makeup-free picture but I wanted to show how the hair looks unstyled. I will want to get more volume.

Good detox shampoo!💚
Everyone needs a good detox shampoo in their hair care routine. This has become a favorite of mine! I use this about every third wash to give the hair a fresh start and really get rid of all the oils and products left after a regular shampoo. A very good, concentrated product that is worth the price💚

🫧 Kevin Murphy Maxi.Wash – the real fresh start for your hair 🫧
Kevin Murphy Maxi.Wash Detox Shampoo is truly a product I find perfect to bring out when my hair feels like it needs a real fresh start. 🤍 I like to use various styling products, oils, and leave-in products in my hair, and even though I love the feeling of well-styled hair, sometimes it feels like the lengths and especially the roots need to start over from scratch. That’s when I think Maxi.Wash fits really well. What I like most is that really clean feeling afterwards. I feel like the hair gets thoroughly cleansed and that heavy feeling that can come from multiple products disappears. For me, it’s almost like a reset button for the hair. ✨ Personally, I wouldn’t use a detox shampoo every time I wash my hair, but see it more as an extra step when it’s actually needed. It could be after periods of heavy styling or when the hair simply doesn’t feel as fresh and airy as usual. That’s why I think it works so well as a complement to my regular hair care routine. Afterwards, I especially feel that the roots feel fresh and the hair gets a lighter feeling. I really like when the hair feels airy after washing instead of immediately feeling coated with product. It also makes me feel like the rest of my hair care works better when I then use shampoo, conditioner, or treatment as usual. 🌿 Since my lengths can be drier, I prefer to use this kind of shampoo more focused on the scalp and roots and then follow up with a moisturizing product on the lengths. That way, I get the clean feeling where I want it without having to compromise the softness in the rest of the hair. I also think it’s the kind of product that gives a little extra satisfaction when you really feel the hair needed it. You know that feeling when you’ve washed your hair and it feels so clean that you almost want to run your fingers through it all the time? 😍 That’s roughly the kind of feeling I get after a detox wash. Maxi.Wash has therefore become a product I like to have at home for those times when my regular hair wash doesn’t quite feel enough. It’s not something I need to use all the time, but when the hair needs a proper reset, I really think it serves its purpose.

A good detox shampoo
One wash with this detox shampoo and it feels like the hair color gets a new life. My hairdresser uses this and recommends it. 💕 Afterwards, the hair feels rough but after a hair mask, the hair regains its moisture and shine. I use it max once a week.

A favorite!
I have thick hair and a sensitive scalp. I always use this shampoo when I've used products like dry shampoo or spray in my hair to really get everything out. It really does what it promises, I think! Makes the hair squeaky clean! 🤩 The price is a bit high, but it's a concentrated product that lasts a long time. Smells a bit like mint, eucalyptus, or a "spa" kind of scent. Nice fragrance, but it doesn't linger very long afterwards 😊

  Heej Filippa! 😊 Yes, it can definitely be worth trying if your hair gets oily easily and has a lot of product residue or buildup 🩷 Since you have thin, curly, and frizzy hair, I would use it more sporadically, not at every wash, so the hair doesn’t feel dry. Massage it mainly into the scalp and finish with conditioner on the lengths. Take care! 💌

Slightly strong scent
This shampoo cleans deeply, giving the feeling of a completely clean scalp and thoroughly cleaned hair. The scent, however, is a bit of tea tree oil and can be perceived as a bit strong, but something in it makes the product almost cooling on the scalp, which also gives a fresh and clean feeling. The hair, however, requires a good treatment or conditioner or shampooing to close the cuticle on each hair strand. I always recommend washing your hair twice, regards a former hairdresser.
