The color Stolen glance really gives a natural and beautiful, semi-transparent and glossy finish! 💫 I do find it a liiitle difficult to blend out on the cheek without somehow ruining the base! Super good durability!
The first impression is good durability, but you need to be a bit quick with the application as it dries down quickly. I think it reminds me of Mac's concealer Studio Fix in the formula, which has similar properties. I’m generally not a concealer fan, as I usually think that a full-coverage foundation covers sufficiently, also under the eyes, where I usually use as little product as possible since it (at least for me) just tends to emphasize fine lines in the thin skin under the eyes and makes me look both older and more tired 🙈 I’ve tried all the tips and tricks I could find, and tested different concealers, but still am not satisfied with the result of concealer under the eyes. That said, I of course tested with concealer under the eyes with this one anyway, and I think it’s probably more beneficial to use a concealer that is more moisturizing under the eyes than what this one is, and that doesn’t "dry" in the same way. That it sets and "dries" is great when it comes to other areas of the face, but not just on the thin skin under the eyes! Ohhh, I was so looking forward to trying this! And it was good, but it doesn't quite make it all the way.. I used the shade 2N1, which matched my skin tone well, and I haven't experienced it oxidizing throughout the day. I have a bit of rosacea and didn't find that it negatively affected my skin condition, however, I added a little extra on the areas where I am most red. It's thin and light, but I still feel like it looks a bit heavy, especially if you want to powder a little on oily areas (I didn't powder in the pictures). The durability is really good though, it couldn't be washed off with micellar water 😅 it would be interesting to do a sweat test.. I would prefer to use this for nights out, for example, but for my taste, it's too heavy for everyday use. I would say it has a satin finish. It settles a bit unattractively around my nose, I think, and I feel like you need to be well-moisturized before applying the product, so that wrinkles aren't emphasized more. I don't like that a pump isn't included, it's incredibly cumbersome and messy without it, and when the product already has a high price, it feels annoying to have to buy a pump.. nah, please bring the pumps back, dear Esteé Lauder 🙏🥺 So, is it worth the price then? Hmm, maybe. Long drying time ⏳️
To start with, I think the packaging/tube feels cheap, it’s made of plastic. I tried curling my lashes first, but it was almost like doing it in vain since the mascara took an unusually long time to dry, which made the curl of the lashes revert back to their normal shape 😴 I still found it easy to work with and it didn’t clump easily. However, I experienced that it was on the wetter/stickier side and tended to smudge to the right and left during application 🙈 It also became difficult to wipe off what got on the skin, as the mascara took a long time to dry. Very long time actually. It wasn’t wet, but sticky for a long time. This meant that the lashes clumped together when I tried to wipe off the mascara that had gotten on the eyelid. The result is still nice, but since I have hooded eyes, this mascara is not optimal for me. It also transferred to the eyelid during the day. Thin, sinks into the skin quickly and leaves the skin soft and nice! 🙏 I have been eyeing the CeraVe Moisturising Lotion before but haven't tested it, so it was perfect that I got to try it now! And I wasn't disappointed 🤩 I have used it 1-2 times/day, and I have dry skin but not the driest of the driest, and it has given me super soft and nice skin! I also have what is called Keratosis pilaris (small red dots mainly on the upper arms) and it has made a big difference in the skin texture. Areas with Keratosis pilaris often feel bumpy and rough, and my skin has become SO much softer and smoother from this lotion! 👏 I have also tried several different products to improve my Keratosis pilaris, but this one has so far worked best, so much fun! 🤩 Since it is thin (but at the same time very moisturizing!), a tip is to use this thin lotion first on the skin, which can absorb more easily into the skin, and then apply a thicker cream over this to maximize hydration if you are extremely dry! 👌 ☆Can be used on both the face & body! ☆Non-comedogenic ☆Fragrance-free ☆Hypoallergenic ☆Super for Keratosis pilaris 100% worth its price! I've been using this for a few weeks now, and my nails aren't splitting anymore and aren't getting cracks anymore, which has allowed them to actually grow longer! The nails were longer than they are in the picture, but since I still have thin and soft nails, two broke off after I showered today 🙈 So I would need to use something that gives stronger, more resilient nails as well. However, I don't understand what they expect you to do after the 6 days? Just continue with 2 times/day? Really good cream for us curly girls 😘
Fun to have a cream that doesn't weigh you down! 👏 My hair is naturally very curly, and with that comes maaassive frizz! I think the cream does a pretty good job with the frizz, and since the ends of my hair are bleached and the upper part is uncolored, I could notice a difference in how it affected my hair. The uncolored hair didn't want as much product as the bleached hair, it took an eeeevvverlasting time to dry if I used too much product! The bleached hair, however, didn't complain, it just screams for more moisture! 😉 In the video, I'm using a hairdryer (with a nozzle for curly hair), it gives more volume but I think the actual curls don't turn out quite as nice then. It could also depend on the user who might need to refine the technique a bit 🤭 In the pictures, I've let my hair air dry 🌬 Normally, my hair doesn't usually like cream products that much, gel usually works best, but this cream actually succeeded!
