I received this organic serum from Kora Organics as a #lykoinflutester. My skin is mature (turning 50 in a few months) and tends towards dryness. The serum is quite thick and feels more like a light cream. The first time it stung a little on my skin, but not in an uncomfortable way, more like it was really penetrating the skin. If you have very sensitive skin, this might not be a serum that suits you. Together with the moisturizer, my skin feels soft and supple all day, and I think it feels a bit firmer after using the products. Unfortunately, the scent is quite unpleasant as it has a strange tone of unripe banana peel. My first thought was that I wouldn't be able to stand it for a month. Luckily, I find that it disappears quite quickly, and my skin feels so hydrated now that it feels worth it. The serum comes in a dropper, which feels hygienic, but since the consistency is quite thick, I find that it often struggles a bit and doesn't want to be absorbed. In summary, it's a really good serum! #koraorganics6 likes321 views - Most helpful negative

π I received the product for free as a #LYKOINFLUTESTER. I got to test three skincare products from #KORAORGANICS. The serum contains bakuchiol, which, as the name suggests, is normally used as an alternative to low-concentration retinol. My skin is dry, sensitive, and acne-prone, without signs of aging. Besides a mild PHA peeling, I donβt use any ingredients with anti-aging properties other than as spot treatment on PIH, and Iβm also cautious with oils. I was therefore a bit nervous when I saw the ingredient list, and even after patch testing, I was hesitant to try the serum on my entire face. But I was pleasantly surprised, as my skin remained calm and felt soft. However, the serum has still made my skin oily after a few hours, so even though it hasnβt been directly irritated, it seems to have become a bit dehydrated. I havenβt gotten acne, but itβs still a concern. The serum comes in a heavier glass bottle with a dropper and has a slightly thick but easily applied consistency. Plus for being organic and vegan π± It smells as expected strongly of plants, but the scent is SO overwhelmingly sharp that I get a headache if I apply it near my nose. It smells like someone has pressed an entire garden into a perfume bottle, and while some may like that, I do not. They really emphasize the plant stem cells in the product and call the serum double-action, and I guess that also contributes to the high price, so I must mention that scientifically itβs unclear whether plant stem cells in skincare achieve anything at all. Bakuchiol has documented effects, but Iβm skeptical about pushing hard for plant stem cells and raising the price because of it. β I like how the serum initially makes my skin feel, but it doesnβt outweigh the other downsides. For those looking for a luxurious bakuchiol serum, who arenβt sensitive to scents, and prioritize vegan + eco, it might suit them well, but for me, unfortunately, it was a miss.13 likes2376 viewsSejin
1 week agoYes, it can really be so different, I experienced the opposite that the smell never really went away and even had to wash my face a couple of times because it became so overwhelming. But fun to hear that it works well for you and others!

As a #lykoinflutester, I have tested this double-action serum from #koraorganics along with two other products from KORA Organics. The serum consists of an organic natural retinol that is supposed to gently combat visible signs of aging, restore skin firmness, and reduce lines and wrinkles. I have dry, sensitive skin with fine lines and the beginning of wrinkles, so I look forward to seeing what results I can achieve with these products. I have now used this serum together with the two other products for about 1 month, and my experience is this... The serum is light in consistency and absorbs quickly into the skin, but it is a bit difficult to get out of the bottle with the dropper. The scent is quite weak, which is an advantage since I am not particularly fond of it. For me, the serum worked well as an ordinary serum, but nothing more. So itβs not something I will continue to use. 3 out of 5 β€οΈ+1

1 day agoVerifierad testareToo strong smell
I became very curious when I, as a #lykoinflutester, was to test three skincare products from a brand I had never heard of before, and which is also organic and vegan. I always find it exciting to try new products that could potentially do even more for my skin than the products I use today. I have mature skin and felt that these products from #koraorganics could suit my skin well. I am generally very fond of purple, so the nice appearance was definitely a plusπ The serum comes in a light purple bottle with a dropper that makes it easy to dose the desired amount. What strikes me is the smell. It is very, very strong and unpleasant, I think. I am also not impressed with how poorly it absorbs into the skin. I notice that I am using less and less of the product each day. I am simply dreading the strong smell. So I am simply disappointed as I had high expectations after reading about the brand.1 likes190 views
